we spent the bank holiday weekend at stanlow farm, their Was 23 of us their for a hen do. We had an amazing weekend, relaxing on the garden in the day and by the hot tub and the fire pit at night. The accommodation was lovely and we were very luck to have the weather which made it even better. we catered for ourselves for the weekend and found everything we needed to cook was provided. Just back from a great stay at Shiningford Manor and Tack room. Booking easy and all our party needs met. Would highly recommend Ashbourne self catering without hesitation. Just spent a great 4nights at Shiningford Manor and Tack room. We have a family reunion every year, with family coming from Canada and the north and south of England. Everyone thought the house was the best by far. Lovely decor,great hot tub,well stocked kitchen( the AGA cooker was a big attraction) There was nothing missing and we all felt at home and comfy. Was a 70 birthday party. What a night to remember. Themed rooms of all the best star's John Wayne. Marilyn Monroe frank sinatra.
Etc.
The facilities were excellent. Plunge pools..luxury beds.it wanted for nothing. Stunning views over open countryside.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

What a wonderful surprise! I had no idea where we would be heading for my hen weekend, but my goodness the girls did well choosing such a fabulous Manor House! Despite the snow cutting our time short, had a fabulous time, the accommodation was stunning, and the surrounding grounds were beautiful. It was so homely and warm. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean with fresh towels at hand. Wonderful hot tub looking out on the fields. The owners were so helpful and really looked after us.
