After looking at every furniture store in the metro, we were so happy to discover MGBW to furnish our living room space in our new home. We were so please to find beautiful contemporary pieces with clean lines that have a sleek and elegant look along with colors and fabrics that create a serene and relaxing space. I did my homework prior to looking at any furniture just to make sure when we did make a purchase somewhere that we would be buying solid, quality built furniture. What we discovered is that it is much harder to find solid, well made furniture! Maria Mongil, the store manager, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions about the construction used in the pieces we were considering. BTW, their furniture is made in America, which is a huge plus. Maria was fabulous to work with and l would highly recommend her to help make your selections. She is very personable and responsive, and had wonderful ideas for our space. She even came to our home with fabrics we could look at in our space to see what we like best. She took measurements of the space and later worked up a computerized drawing of the space and our furniture choices, which was very helpful for us to get a better feel of how it would all come together. My only negative is that it would be so nice if MGBW offered a computerized version that would incorporate both a picture of your actual space with a picture of the actual furniture selections and fabrics! All in all, this was a great experience and l would highly recommend Mitchell Gold-Bob Williams and working with Maria to get the perfect look for your space. More...

This is the go to nursery in the East Valley. The staff is knowlegble, their plants are high quality and their prices are much less than  other "high- end" nurseries in Palm Desert. They stand by their product. I purchased three Firestick/ Pencil cacti- hand picked them and when unloaded at home realized one was a diffferent color. Upon returning the next day there was no question about the exchange.  In October / November they  replenish their stock for seasonal planting.  Definitely my go to place! More...

One of the reasons this store has our loyalty and business is because of JANE! She is a gem!!!! From the moment we met her last year we knew our search for furniture has ended. She has gone above and beyond for us. Her vision for spaces is simply perfect. She is also considerate of  people's budget and pays attention to fabrics depending on what  space the pieces are meant for ( kitchen, bedroom, etc) We are in love with our counter stools and have gotten endless compliments on them. We recently purchased the Fiona sleeper sofa and I can't wait to have it in my guest bedroom. A perfect multi functional piece! We have owned the Hunter sofa for 2 years and have loved it from day one. The cushions still look amazing (we do flip them every couple months). We were nervous about the fabric as we chose a very light grey and had it treated by Timmins. So far its survived soy sauce, red wine and balsamic dressing spills and splatters. The 39 inch depth is very comfy and perfect for snuggling up on and watching tv. All around a great purchase we absolutely don't regret. More...

I recently moved to an apartment in Philly and bought new furniture from your store. I had absolutely the best experience possible and love, love love, everything that I bought. It looks beautiful in my new place. I have to recognize Justin Schnovel. He helped me from start to finish by coordinating every color, fabric, piece of furniture to achieve the look that I wanted. He solved every problem from a design perspective that I could come up with and kept in the loop with the delivery schedule. It's rare to experience such attention to detail and care. The first time I saw this store it appealed to me instantly. What sets Mitchell Gold Bob Williams apart from some of the other stores in and around KOP is the decidedly "fun" vibe here. They have some really exciting pieces here that I salavated over and others that were clearly just for aesthetics and not practical at all as far as comfort goes. If you like color, patterns, whimsical shapes and drama MGBW is definitely a must to put on your hit list.As far as service is concerned I will say this...Of the four associates we encountered two of them were very pleasant. A simple greeting, a little spiel and let us browse. Another seemed bored to tears to be there. I asked if he had design services and yes was all he said. As for the last, she was terribly aggressive and made our browsing painfully awkward. She followed us step by step to each piece even when we asked her if we could just browse. We literally had to escape her by getting on the elevator which thank God was nearby and going to the second floor. But overall a good experience. More...

Thank you so much for bringing back the Dexter sofa. I purchased 2 custom Dexter sofas many years ago and when I first tried to replace 1 late last year, it was no longer available. My father drove us up here from Virginia to see his home town. When he was about our age he would got to the Dwains Toy Land that was in the same building many years back. When we were driving by he lit up and was so happy that it was open. The store is crowded wall to wall with things, having quite the eclectic style. It's the kind of place where you could spend the whole day looking and collecting things and still leave wanting more. The store owner was polite and nice to us. My husband, Alan Stolz, and I are retiring from the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and moving home to Lawrence, Kansas where we purchased our forever home. We decided to visit Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams in Kansas City to begin our journey to appoint our new home. Boy, were we lucky to meet design consultant, Rebecca Winfrey! From the very beginning, Rebecca became our new best friend. She was knowledgeable and patient with us, and most importantly, she was fun to be around. Will Joyner, a senior designer in the Washington DC location, is truly an artist. We moved into an empty classic 1930s Center Hall Colonial. All we provided him with was a sample of wall paper for our dining room, and he took that little piece to create a beautiful orchestration between our dining room, living room, family bedroom and master bedroom.  He lead us in selecting the main pieces for each room, but also all of the secondary and accent pieces, such as end tables, consoles, pillows and decor. As a result of Will's work, our home is breathtakingly beautiful, inviting, and homey. It also reflects our own personalities. Will is a great listener and has an unbelievably good eye.  He is also the nicest and most honest person to work with you can imagine. He came to our home for the installation, and now we just do whatever he recommends. We have come to trust him fully. I cannot recommend him enough. More...

I recently visited the store in Paramus because I noticed a piece of furniture on the Bloomingdale's furniture floor at 59th St and loved it (Blooms would not match the sale price of the online vendor) so off I drove to the store.  My salesperson Burak was professional, helpful and very knowledgeable.  Delivery was scheduled soon after my purchase and the delivery people came promptly within the timeframe.  (I was super lucky)  I absolutely would not hesitate to purchase from this store again!  The cabinet was perfect, not damaged and really looks great in my space.  Thanks so much! I am so happy to rate a moving company so highly after other bad experiences!  These folks have very reasonable rates and don't try to overcharge with 3rd man when unnecessary.  They were early, mature, professional, very hard working, and very patient with me.  Victor and Jose were so careful with my things and the walls like I've never seen.  Marie is top notch scheduling and they are all so friendly and honest.  You will be shocked!  Will use them every move! I love this store!!! My husband and I had been looking for months for a very specific measurement for a couch to fill a large space in our living room. We had already been to 10 stores, and we were exhausted and felt completely defeated that our favorite couch was at RH. (By the way, RH has the WORST customer service, and they treated us like complete garbage even when we were willing to spend 15k on a couch.....) On our way to the fabric appointment at RH we stumbled into this store. And OMG thank God we did!!! Kristen Collins was a dream to work with. She was COMPLETELY HONEST with us regarding pricing and fabric choices and even steered us away from spending money on things she didn't think were worth it. What sales person does that She went ABOVE AND BEYOND to even come to our house to match colors. This lady will hopefully be my furniture/designer guru for life! Had a fantastic experience with this store and our amazing design consultant, Savannah L!!! The customer service is unparalleled. ..especially in the furniture industry where most other places are just trying to offload their merchandise to you at any cost.  At MGBW they want you to be happy and love their product as much as they do. They are knowledgeable, patient and sell beautiful, amazing pieces and most importantly will help you design your space to your liking and comfort level. We ended up purchasing an upholstered bed from them that is absolutely gorgeous. Savannah even helped us to create a quasi-registry by coordinating our guests purchase of gift cards for us.  She even would counsel us on when new collections were coming out, so we could be fully informed.  This is one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had and is by far the BEST customer service in the furniture market.  We went to a lot of furniture stores before we settled on MGBW.  I cannot thank Savannah or MGBW enough for the wonderful experience. This is the by far the best best furniture store I have ever shopped in. The staff that work at this store are truly experts at what they do. I worked with Derek Willis, who he helped me select some amazing pieces. Will Joyner was then able to design a layout and took measurements at my place to make sure each piece would work in my space. This our favorite nursery. Great selection of plants and accessories, but the best part of shopping there is the great service from very knowledgeable people. My wife and I bought some pots there and when we got them home we decided they were too small. We didn't go back for a few days and of course we lost the receipt. Stylish, modern and well-made American furniture. Purchased a custom couch and dining table with Alex. Customer service was exceptional from beginning to end. He provided personable care and helpful advice when picking our designs, which made the entire shopping experience easier. The delivery for our dining table was a lot later than estimated, however, they went above and beyond to make it right by offering a discount and writing an apology letter. I love my furniture and get tons of compliments. It's been over a year and they have held up like new against our toddler and dogs. After a bit of a frustrating day trying to source a new nursery/garden center as a new resident, I came across this place.  Though a bit out of the way and down valley, they had a good selection considering it's probably more low season.  Adam greeted me instantly and was helpful to help me learn and choose some different plants for some pots for our front and back areas.  I am not new to the love of plants but I am not as familiar with desert plants having come from the Bay Area and Northwest. After a miserable experience with a competitor company, we couldn't have been more thrilled with the customer service provided by Manager Trey McCray and his fantastic associates. Trey is extremely knowledgeable about the store's merchandise and spent a great deal of time helping us pick out the perfect bed for our needs. He saw to it that the furniture arrived in record time since in the interim we were sleeping on a mattress on the floor. The bed is beautiful, sturdy, and well constructed and upholstered. So while having arrived early to meet another furniture designer we "window shopped" this location. We were pleasantly surprised to be invited in 30 minutes prior to the stores scheduled opening. Liz welcomed us to look around, offered to answer any questions and left us to browse. Who expected we would have designed the entire room and have print outs and pricing in hand. Liz and all the staff joined in to share ideas and thoughts. We purchased a few pieces today with all intentions of ordering the rest ASAP. The quality is impressive, prices are great and fabric selections amazing. We would highly recommend stopping by and brainstorming with these talented individuals. The brand is fortunate to have Liz. I used Bob Williams Moving to move some heavy furniture items from San Pedro to Long Beach this morning, & I am extremely happy I did.  They arrived on schedule, worked quickly & carefully, were cordial & helpful, and best of all, finished the job within the 3 hour minimum.  I was promised a truck with 2 men.  I got the truck, three men, & Marie, a very nice & professional lady who took my phone reservation, then drove the truck - a great value!  I highly recommend Bob Williams Moving and will definitely use them again in the future when the need arises.Jackie B. This was the first place I came to plants when we moved into the area a month before the summer heat hit. I have yet to see their full selection once the temps cool down and they're in season again, but can't wait! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I know some of their tips have helped me keep a few plants alive and not terribly scorched over the summer. Pricing is fair as well.
