Artistic Images really gave me the experience of a lifetime. I started out with hair and make-up, done by an on-site professional make-up artist. At first I thought the make up was too heavy (I'm not used to having on a lot of make-up) but I was assured that it would look good on camera - and it did!! I trusted in them and the results were magnificent.Denise, my photographer, made me feel at ease. There was mood music and beautiful props to work with. Even though my package only included poses on one set, Denise was nice enough to do a variety of different sets and poses. She was really interested in the photography and seeing how different approaches worked with my look. She was great at guiding my posing.The pictures came out great!! She has a real keen eye. I used Artistic Images in order to get some headshots that I could use for auditions. When I called the company's number, Denise was very polite on the phone and she scheduled an appointment at a little shopping area in Costa Mesa. I live in Huntington Beach, so it was nice that I did not have to drive too far to have my photos taken. At first I was nervous, but Denise helped make me feel comfortable and she was very professional during the shoot. I spent $250 for two retouched photos and $100 for an extra third. $250 is a decent amount of cash, but I think it is fairly reasonable for two professionally done headshots. Actors, I understand if you do not have the budget and you would rather have a friend take your photos instead. However, if you can save up enough money, I highly recommend using Artistic Images for your headshots. I had a great experience and I am very happy with the photos I got. Denise was amazing to work with and her prices are very fair. I did my research before choosing her, and you will not find a better deal especially with her quality of work! She also made my experience very comfortable. In no way am I a model or used to this type of work, but she was able to get me to relax and boost my confidence in what I was doing. I booked a session for my anniversary and I'm so glad I did! My calls and questions were answered promptly and my session went great! Everyone made me feel comfortable and you can tell because my pictures turned out great. The only downside is that the drive up to Ventura County from Orange County can be really long. It is kind of far for me to drive to Santa Paula for a photo shoot but once I got there, it was totally worthwhile. The scenery was so breathtaking and Denise was kind, patient and took her time to ensure I posed artistically. My photos look great and my boyfriend loves it I actually drove there right before Christmas to pick up the photos to give to my boyfriend because I love driving there as it had been an adventure for me.  When I got there, Denise helped me saved my favorite photos to the DVD but at the end I paid a small fees to get all my photos. Regardless how nice and not nice the photos are mine and I am keeping them. I strongly recommend this place for  a photo shoot. Getting photographed by Denise was an awesome experience! I was so nervous at first but Denise and her make-up artist, Ashley made me feel right at home! I really got to know both of the girls which made the experience even better! Denise was so helpful through the entire process. She helped me feel very comfortable in my own body and made me actually feel sexy! I was mesmerized by every photo she took of me, I didn't know I could be so beautiful and seductive! I got these pictures taken for my one year anniversary with my boyfriend and I know he will LOVE them. She is so professional and friendly. I had an amazing time during my shoot. For this Valentine's day I wanted to do something completely outside the box. Doing my research online, I found Artistic Images Photography. Starting with the beautiful location in Santa Paula the excitement just grew. The place was super gorgeous and evryone was very professional. The makeup and hair transformation for the photos was incredible, and ones the photo session started it was all fun, you definitely get to discover your "inner goddess"...  This is an experience I hope to repeat soon. A few years ago I happened to mention to a friend that I wished I had taken Boudoir picture when I was in my 20 or 30's. this was said in casual conversation. Well, he decided to purchase a package with Denise for me as a Christmas present back in 2011. I was mortified! I'm almost 61 years old! I procrastinated and postponed until Jan 2013 and realized that if I didn't do the pictures it was a complete waste of my friends money....which seemed rude. My problem ( besides the fact that I felt way to old to do something like this) is that I'm just plain ole not photogenic! It's really hard to get a decent picture of me and now we want it to be sexy? Tall order.I was really afraid of trying to look good for the camera and having them all come out bad....that would feel like failure.Anyway, I relaxed some while my makeup and hair was being done. We were visiting and I had brought a margarita to sip on to calm myself. I loved my hair and makeup but I'm thinking my eyes were a bit too made up for me. I'm not complaining, they were glamour shots and I don't usually wear much makeup so I looked very different than I'm used to...but that was the point.When it came time to start the photo shoot Denise was able to make me feel comfortable and took a few test shot which helped me relax. She pays attention to the smallest details. She even had the makeup artist ( I'm really sorry I don't remember her name) come in and clip a few stray hairs in my bangs. She was careful to make sure tags were not showing, sheets were strategically placed to cover what I wanted covered, she directed me on positions so my legs looked slimmer...you get the idea.Within a half hour I was giggling, smiling, feeling sexy, and flirting with the camera.I had hoped I'd be able to pick at least 10 good pictures for my album  but let me tell you I picked 30 and my daughter and sister picked 50 or more! What an ego build.Honestly, I think every woman over 50 should do this. It's a wonderful way to build your self confidence. None of us look as good at 50-60  as we did at our 20-30's but think of it.......we expect to get good shots when we're young....to get them when we're old is the best gift ever.Denise did a great job and I suggest you let yourself get out of your comfort zone and have a photo shoot with her.You'll have a great time! Denise and Victoria are wonderful. I am sooo impressed with their skills. My make-up and hair has never looked better, Victoria knows what works best. Denise knows exactly what poses and props to use, and she makes you so comfortable while doing it. The pictures are so amazing, I can't even believe it's me! I drove four hours from South San Diego and it was way, way worth it. My husband and I will treasure these photos always. About a month before my wedding, I decided to do a boudoir photo session, with the intention of giving my husband an album as a wedding gift on the day of.  My thought behind it was to do it before I have kids, before any stretch marks! I didn't know anyone else that has done it before, so I just did a search online and came across Denise's website.  Given my short time frame, Denise scheduled an appointment with me right away. LOCATION:I went to her new location in Ojai.  On the information sheet she gives you prior to your appointment, it says not to bring anyone, so I went alone.  I have to say I got a little scared when I first entered the premise because it was middle of nowhere, very country.  You drive up a very narrow canyon to get to the house.  It's a cottage like cozy, well-decorated home.  With this type of photography, privacy is always good, which it offered.    MAKEUP:Victoria, a former makeup artist for the playmates in the 90's, did my makeup.  In case you're wondering, the package I selected came with makeup.  She was amazing and very sweet!  I was extremely happy with the makeup.  Although she doesn't do hair, she also teased and volumized my hair.  She will turn you into a sexy bombshell.  BOUDOIR SESSION:This was my first time doing a boudoir session.  I had no idea how I was going to do, but both Denise and Victoria made me feel very much at ease. I was given unlimited glasses of champagne, and that definitely helped! (not sure if it comes with every shoot though) If you're not sure about how to pose, not to worry.  Denise will direct you every step of the way.  She will tell you exactly where to put your hands, feet, etc.  Basically in every position, you want all your parts to be perked, arched, and pointed and HOLD while she gets the best shot   If you have any insecurity with certain parts of your body, not to worry either.  Denise knows how to hide anything you don't want showing and have you pose in ways that make you a sexy, powerful, beautiful woman that you are.  We definitely went over the outfits and time limit and she did not charge me extra.    PREVIEW:After your shoot, Denise shortly provides you with a preview of all your photos on a secured website that has a free 30 day trial.  Monthly renewal fee is $39.95 if you choose to have access to them longer.  I believe there is annual membership fee, but I don't remember how much that is.  ALBUMS:I ordered two albums: 10 page album (10 pictures) to give on the wedding day and the digital album (45 pictures), which is what I really wanted, but couldn't be ordered in time for the wedding.  Amazing quality! The creative design she put together for the digital album was very nice.  Both books are leather bound with high quality prints. They come in a black gift box.  There is a variety of cover you can choose from.  In the digital album, you can even put a printed note for your special someone, which is what I did.   PRICING:Price varies on the package you select.  I do want to mention that buying the digital copy of your pictures is expensive.  It doesn't automatically come with unlike some of the other boudoir photographers.  The price for one digital file ranges from $75 to $150.  It does get cheaper if you get it in a bundle with other things.  If you are interested in getting your digital files, just make sure to ask Denise about all pricing before hand.    MY HUSBAND'S REACTION - PRICELESS:HE ABOSLUTELY LOVES MY PICTURES!!! I wasn't sure how we would feel about the money I spent on them (several designer pairs of shoes at least!)  which he would normally care, but he didn't in the slightest.  He said it was worth every penny! He even went out and got two safes - one that is fire proof that goes inside the other that's theft proof to protect the albums LOL It wasn't even about protecting our passports, birth certificates, and other valuables, but THE ALBUMS! Now that reaction is exactly why I would recommend Denise! She is very good at what she does! She makes you feel very comfortable and gives you direction.  Unless you're a model, most of us need to be told how to pose for the best result. The pictures were stunning.  I'm very pleased with how everything came out.  As much as it was for my husband, but it's also very much for myself.  I'd imagine showing my kids/grandkids years from now how sexy their mother/grandmother looked. My experience with Artistic Images was wonderful. Three weeks ago I called to set up a photo shoot for my girlfriend who is an aspiring  fitness model and needed some professional pictures for her portfolio. The owner Denise and her entire crew delivered with amazing results and professionalism. My girlfriend said that from the moment she arrived at the studio that she was made perfectly comfortable by both the make up artist and the photographer and that they helped her to make the most out of her session.  Having pictures taken in lingerie would seem to be an intimidating experience but my girlfriend could not stop raving about how much fun she had, which says a lot about the people at Artistic Images. On a personal note I think the pictures of my girl are amazing and incredibly sexy. To say I am grateful for their service is an understatement!!! Become a Supermodel for a DayLet's be honest, who hasn't fantasized of being a Supermodel and this year I've decided to give myself the gift of stepping into the life of a Cindy Crawford for a day!  What a great decision this turned out to be.... Browsing through various Boudoir Photography studios/sites it was hard to make a choice, what I liked about the Artistic Images website is that additionally to Boudoir Photography they offer a "Guess-Style" Shoot. Denise the photographer asked me to come up to Ojai to do the shoot, hesitant at first I found myself driving up there on a Saturday Morning. The location couldn't have been more stunning! The shoot actually took place at a private home. Denise and her make-up / hair artist couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating.  I immediately fell in love with the make-up artist; if I had the money I would hire Victoria to become my personal make-up artist! Victoria has worked with many Playmates in the past and if somebody can give you that sultry Guess-Model, Playmate look it's her.... the actual shoot was the coolest thing ever, for a few hours I truly thought of being a model.... Victoria and Denise gave me directions that were super easy to follow...those two girls are Pros and have the eye which poses are best for you...... I had such a blast... that I want to do another shoot at the beach later this year.......... and maybe another one... . They got me hooked! Meanwhile I have received my pictures..... Boy I look hot LOL... Let me tell you every woman, Girl should do such a shoot. It boosts your self-confidence... I walked in to the Hilton ocean view hotel in Huntington beach with a bag full of bras, pantys and heels not knowing what to expect, but I was completely blown away!  I was escorted to the top floor into the most beautiful, HUGE catalina suite by Victoria, the makeup artist where I met Denise.  These ladies made me feel so comfortable and confident, something that I was not expecting having never done a boudoir shoot.  I had a blast!  It was so much fun and I felt like a real Victorias Secret model.  Denise was very professional and I felt like she was doing all the work for me.  Can't wait to see the pictures, hope my fiance likes his wedding present... =) More...

My experience is completely different than the other review.  Im older, mid 40's so I went in not feeling like I had the body for this, but doing it for my husband as a Christmas gift.  I had my hair and makeup done by them, it turned out fantastic.  I looked so glamorous.   Denise was working with another woman when I arrived but let me know what to expect.  I was finished with my makeover just about the time I was supposed to start, so it was perfect timing.  Denise told me what to expect, explained this is what she did professionally and to trust her.  She got into her photographer zone, she was very professional.  I let go and trust her and she positioned me for the shots and flattered my body with various poses and outfits or things draped over my not so glamourous body parts.    Im very excited to see the end result and will update my review when I see my proofs.  Im looking forward to seeing them in just two days!  Thanks for the rush job!
