About

Artista Studio and Gallery is a photo studio, exhibition space and event venue for hire in the heart of Brighton & Hove. We have a fully licensed bar which we can operate until 2am and an in house sound-system. There is also a kitchen for functions as the space was once a large restaurant.

Set up in 2012, Artista was predominantly a working photographic studio. During this time we provided our services to a broad selection of clients and assignments; look-books for local fashion designers, model portfolios, portraits, product photography, fashion photography, event photography and lifestyle photography. We also ran several successful workshops and model days.

Through our work at the studio we started to grow quite an extensive network of artists, photographers, models, MUA's and creatives of all types. We realized through our conversations that what was lacking was a place where we could build a community, share experiences, talk shop, network or just hang out with other like minded people as well as display our work.

With this in mind Artista is now being run as a multi functional creative space and event venue for hire. The new premises is spread over 3 floors, each with its own unique style and absolutely full of character – its a lovely quirky building, and if you haven’t seen it yet, we know you will fall in love with it as well.

Exhibition space, photo studio, fashion catwalk, product launch or promo space, spoken word events, video filming, art/photography classes/demos and workshops, film screenings, networking events, pop up restaurants, supper clubs, tastings and other food events, gigs and club nights are some of the ways this space can and has been used. Let your imagination run free... Artista is a space to create and we support and encourage you to mold the space into your vision. We will always try to be flexible to your needs.

Based in the heart of Brighton & Hove and 2min walk from Brighton seafront, we are ideally located for anyone looking to hire a unique and inspirational venue. Bring your ideas to life in our multi-faceted creative space.

Opening Times: Artista Studio is available to hire 7 days a week 9:00am to 5:00pm, but is also available for out of hours booking. The Cafe, Gallery and Bar is only open for hire and private functions until spring. We do not operate regular opening hours until the summer so please book a meeting with us if you would like to visit the venue.
