Great Indian food. Flavors are good though there's been a bit of price creeping recently. My only complaint: I get that you use a lot of herbs to season the rice, but I dont want whole cardamom pods, cloves, or cinnamon bark in my rice. Use a mesh seasoning bag folks. We went in for the lunch buffet! This little bistro was super cute, and looks much bigger on the inside! Gives off a very cozy and homey feeling. The owner was wonderful and very nice and extremely attentive! I felt right at home and both me and my friend who were there enjoyed the experience overall!The food was fantastic! I couldn't stop eating the Naan!! The chicken tikka masala was sooooo good! I just couldn't stop mopping it off my plate! Everything was very nicely spiced and flavored, not too spicy either!! I have eaten at dozens of Indian restaurants in a number of states, and this is perhaps the best of them. The cosy place is full of the scent of Indian spices, well suiting its name. One caveat is that they garnish most items with cilantro, so if you have an aversion to that, just ask them to leave it off. The staff is extremely accommodating and gave us great service. They showed great patience with my finicky family who had never tried Indian food before! The attention to detail in the dishes it's excellent, with the white rice topped with a hint of spices, almond slivers floating on the creamy sauce of malai kofta, and the tandoori chicken sizzling when it arrived. Highly recommended is the rose lassi, a strawberry, coloured yogurt drink that is sweet and strongly flavoured with rose water. Most Indian restaurants have mango or plain lassi, but this rose variation is fantastic and just the thing for cooling the palate after a spicy dish. I've both eaten in and had take out from Aroma, and I have to say it's some of the most interesting Indian food I've ever had. They have things on the menu I haven't seen other places, like Chicken Chettinad and Kadai Paneer. Even their rice is more luscious than other places.
