I would recommend everything about Armstrong fitness!! For a while I had painful knees in everyday life and whilst squatting and I tried everything to rectified this. I contacted Sarah and explained to her what was happening. She wanted to see my squat stance. She showed me how to better position my feet and taught me how to engage my body to do this. Since Sarah did this my knees have been amazing and pretty much pain free. I can’t recommend her enough!! More...

I work with my clients to set realistic goals. For many people, goals may seem unattainable so by breaking them down into more manageable mini goals the journey feels easier and becomes more rewarding and enjoyable.

Clients also get access to the Healthy By Habit app to help keep accountability and aid progress between sessions.

Fitness has been an important part of my life, since my teenage years and within my role in the British Army. My nutrition however, is a different story - I approached it all wrong. I would follow fad diets and overwork myself when it come to exercise. I thought healthy eating was calorie restriction, weighing food and cutting out carbs - even healthy ones.

In turn, I had a poor relationship with my body and with food. I did not feel my best, I always felt the need to “cheat”, and I was not getting the results I was striving for. I wasn’t treating my body with respect and this impacted my health - I was hospitalised. This was a real wake up call that things needed to change.

I decided to take my love for fitness and turn it into a career. I gained my Personal Training qualification and learned the best way to help both myself and my clients. I then went on to complete my Precision Nutrition qualification. This was a real turning point in my career, I now had the skills and knowledge to make a real difference to my own eating behaviours and provide a sustainable nutrition approach my clients can implement, so they too can make healthy eating part of their lifestyle.

My aim is to help clients improve to the point where they can go on to complete their new lifestyle independently and confidently.
