I purchased a Lutino cockatiel back in September when Bruce was out of town. I tried for months to gain the birds trust with no background knowledge of how to work with cockatiels. 3 1/2 months later I was heartbroken this bird wanted nothing to do with me. I contacted Bruce and explained everything to find out I had done everything wrong with the first bird. Bruce not only let me bring him back but allowed me to upgrade to a pied cockatiel. Bruce showed me everything I need to do to train this bird to be handled rather than having an aggressive biter like the last bird. My little Archimedes is so smart and sweet. Bruce knew he was the right bird for me! I couldn’t be happier! The only thing I will say when dealing with Arizona Parrots is make sure you get your bird from Bruce. Just purchased an African Grey from Arizona Parrots. Super happy with him. His name is Dillan and he is getting sweeter by the day. The follow-up help from Bruce who has been very generous with his time and tips on training is rare and much appreciated. I have been to several pet shops in Tucson and in Phoenix and have never met someone with his knowledge on Training parrots. Amazing place to find parrots. Bruce is very knowledgeable and could answer every question I had. The birds are healthy and treated with care. A lot of the birds are trained by Bruce and his staff, and he showed us how to train my parrot the day I got him. They also have parrot training classes if you want to learn more. Extremely happy bird arrived in perfect health and condition after travelling from 5am to 9pm opened cage was extremely surprised at how calm and unstressed he was, bruce him self was very helpful and was in contact with us for the whole shipping process and even called to make sure the bird arrived in good health, answered all of my questions and even sent extra food a true profession if you want a healthy bird would recommend Arizona parrots to anyone.

I purchased an 11 week old Cockatiel from Arizona Parrots the day after Mother's Day. I had been following them on Facebook & their website for a year researching what type of bird to purchase. My family encouraged me to finally visit them to look at the birds & to my delight they told us to come right over after making the call! Cindy was helpful & patient as I chose my bird & even help put our bird cage together. I named my cockatiel Phoenix. Phoenix has adjusted to our home wonderfully! We loved our experience at Arizona Parrots. My daughter and I wanted pointers on taming our new baby lovebird. After one session we had advanced from not being able to touch the bird at all to holding and petting her. We also have a plan now on what we need to be doing to continue our training. I took a tour of this facility, i am new to Tucson and had never heard of a parrot ranch. I was considering getting my mom a small bird and wanted to check it out.
