Always tough finding the right counselor but Gordon Gunnel at Change of Heart Counseling is top-notch. He's extremely experienced which lends to his ability to relate to people with all types of issues. He is a great listener and truly wants to help coach you (rather than lecture or judge). I've reached out to Gordon several times outside of counseling sessions for advice on things that have come up in between sessions and he's been both responsive and helpful, along with empathetic. He 's empathetic to what you are going through, but also will point out where your thinking may need to open up or readjust to allow you to see things where you've gotten stuck in the past so true healing and change can happen.
