Arithmetic Accountants took over our internal bookkeeping services in 2015. Our bookkeeper had left 3 months prior and left our books a complete mess. Huzefa, reviewed the situation and put systems and structures in place to revive the situation and bring the correct figures forward. Once that was done, he and the team have handled it remotely and they provide premium prices at affordable rates!

What inspired you to start your own business?

The inner entrepreneur in me wanted to build something to help the smaller businesses get the premium level of service at the affordable rate. With that in mind, I set up and launched in 2014. It grew rapidly and this helped us build a fantastic team to maintain high levels of client service. With our success we're in the process of opening a second office in London! Projects

Sporting Midlands FC

I was elected as the chairman of a newly formed football club. My role was to build a structure for the club to ensure that the club does not fold. I had to source sponsors and funding as well as creating a business plan for the club. I took control of meetings with the members and created a board of directors as well as meeting with potential sponsors and pitching to potential investors. My role was to delegate tasks to ensure tight deadlines were met and the club were up and running within 6 weeks. This included financial stability as well as a strong structure for the club. This allowed the manager to focus on the football side of things. With the strong structure created using the 30 page long term Sporting Midlands FC I am now able to help out on matchdays. My role on match days is to help the manager with the football side of things as well as ensuring the league rules are adhered to. This means paying the referees as well as completing match reports and submitting to the league accordingly.
