I had my 50th Birthday party at the Chapel Bar on 16th February 2019 and the entire experience was one of professionalism and dealing with very genuine and good people. I looked at 4 other places and had sent my enquiry to around another 10 possible venues, one of the responses was from the Operations Manager (Luke) at Chapel Bar (forgotten I had sent this bar an enquiry), the first email (and every other email after that) was very professional, it had all the information required to make an immediate decision of whether the venue met my needs and it did. So I called an went and saw the place within 2 hours, soon as a saw the venue I aid am booking it – it was not just the place but I felt that Luke and his team will provide a quality service…On the day of the party, my Wife went to do some small decoration and she told me the staff is very friendly and enthusiastic to help her to organise the table for the cake…Antony ( the bar manager) and the other staff operating the night of the venue was very accommodating, professional, friendly and gave us a service that we cannot fault in anyway … I had around 75 people and everyone enjoyed themselves and gave me positive feedback on the venue…The bar and food prices (we ordered like 12 platters of canapes) are not the cheapest in town but there is a saying that cheap things are not good and god thing are not cheap – the food was good and well worth the price … Overall – I give this place 5 star + on service, professionalism, and location…so highly recommended if you are looking to host an event and want quality service from start to end! Absolutely appalled by this place - went there this evening and was charged £3 for soda water (from the gun, not bottled water). It's the equivalent of fizzy tap water! Would NEVER go back again and would never recommend this place to anyone - more than that, I'll be telling people not to go there and get ripped off. If I hadn't sipped the drink before being told the price, I would have refused it. More...

I can’t speak highly enough of Simon Craddock in the Family Law division who has to be one of the most genuine and fair lawyers you could come across. The first time I ever spoke to Simon, while auditioning several other lawyers, I was struck by how Simon stood out as very straight talking, both from how he described how to look at charges (grouping up the likely cost of each scenario rather than the scary hourly rate everyone else was quoting) through to diving straight into a matter-of-fact analysis of the likely settlement.Simon clearly recognises that the family area of law is different to some other parts, and his personable and fair approach to advice and the relationship he built with me throughout felt considerate while remaining pragmatic and realistic throughout.Nobody wants to go through this but Simon was an amazing find and I really appreciated his advice, emails, phone calls, pragmatism and fairness throughout.Thank you Simon! On Saturday 17th March 2018 we got married in Islington Town then we held our reception in The Chapel Bar. We all had an AMAZING time! . The food was delicious. We had the chicken and gnocchi and Wow they were both so tasty. We have never tasted chicken like it! The gnocchi was a very good portion to. The drinks flowed all night until 3am and nothing was to much trouble. The bar staff were lovely especially Leia what a lovely lady! Eilliot dashed out to get flowers for some of our guest. Our table decorations were set out just as we wonted. The Chapel Bar was such an interment venue. My guest loved the venue and asked how did I find such a lovely venue! The mini burgers and fish and chips went down so well. The fish just melted in your mouth. Oh yes and what a lovely pint of Guinness! Thank you to Luke and all the staff at the Chapel Bar for making our St Patrick’s Day Wedding a day we will never forget! Xx More...

I had my 50th birthday party in July at this bar and I couldn’t have picked a better venue. Thanks to Luke and Marco for making the planning and organising so easy. Every question and query was answered efficiently and the the whole team helped the night to run smoothly. The canapés I ordered came out was served at the time I requested and my guests loved them. The drinks menu is on point which also included cocktails. This venue is great to hire and with a finishing time of 3am helped even the latecomers to enjoy themselves ( not to say I had any late guests lol). The fact that you can also use your own DJ also added to the reason why this venue is ideal. I would definitely use this venue again. Thanks a lot guys xx More...

Fantastic venue for a birthday party! I had my 30th on Friday in the Terrace bar and was able to decorate it up as a club Tropicana with no problems at all. The bar hostess was Leah, who was amazing. She made some great cocktails and was fabulous to my guests. Upon leaving she said she had a great time working which was nice. My friends are a little nuts so the bar had to put up with some silly beggars at times, but they were brilliant throughout the evening and made it perfect! Definitely book out the terrace bar of you have friends who smoke and you don't want people to keep leaving the venue to Go outside. Would book again! More...

I had my 30th birthday celebrations in the saloon bar for around 100 of my friends and family. This is a cracking venue for a party. Luke was really helpful in the lead up, politely and promptly dealing with all our annoying questions. On the night, we were well looked after by friendly and professional staff, and it all contributed to a good old knee's up. I'm an American living in Los Angeles. I contacted the Chapel Bar about hosting a concert afterparty for approx. 125 people. I found the management easy to deal with and was quickly able to make arrangements even though I was out of the country. As the to event itself, it could not have gone better. They were incredibly helpful in planning our party, helping to choose food, advising on timings, and politely putting up with questions. We had an amazing evening at The Chapel Bar. Marco and the team couldn't do enough to help us! We had the terrace room upstairs and it was gorgeous! It's also covered and heated so perfect when it got a little colder in the evening. Held my 40th birthday party in the upstairs bar last month and it was perfect!! From planning the night, Luke the manager was always on hand to assist with my enquiries which made me know it was going to a smooth run evening from the beginning. The hot finger food that was served to all my party guests went down with a full thumbs up and was delicious and on my actual night the bar staff could not do anything more to ensure me and all my friends and family had a great night and my DJ (provided by the bar) was fantastic. The upstairs space was perfect for us and there was approx 70 people. The heated terrace part was great as it meant the whole party could stay together all night and even being February we couldn't feel the cold at all. I would definitely recommend the Chapel Bar and have been since my party and I hope to attend someone else's party there in the future. We had our wedding at The Chapel Bar, Terrace room. I can only say good words about the whole organisation and the people working at the bar. During the planning process I literarily felt that the manager could read my mind as he came up with the ideas that perfectly fitted to our budget and other requirements. At the wedding day due to traffic we were late, but the food and drinks were perfectly adjusted to our arrival so that we didn't even have to worry about it. And big big thanks to our bartender!!
