I loved this place! I was here for lunch solo on a weekday and sat at the bar. The staff are very friendly, and the pizzas are delicious (the Hearst was amazing, but definitely big enough for 2 people! ). This place is much better on the inside than it looks on first glance from the outside. The food is anchored in pizza, with a really long list of shareable sides and salads. Oh, try The Hearst - as pizza goes it was great. They do wonder a bit into craft cocktails. I think you are wiser drinking beer - but it seems everyone has to take their own twist on a Manhattan no a days. Short answer - I would come back. I came here with a friend for a late lunch (around 2pm on a Friday afternoon). We were visiting San Francisco for the weekend. The good: Excellent, friendly, and attentive service; tasty drinks, willing to accommodate changes due to dietary restrictions (without a fee); the food is delicious and appropriately portioned to leave you full but not stuffed. I had the turkey club and my companion had the porchetta. Both were wonderful. They are served with house made pickles and potato chips.The bad: the drink menu is VERY limited. They do NOT have a full bar. So, if none of the drinks on their menu tickle your fancy, you're out luck--I was pretty bummed about the drinks. Although it was a quick lunch break, but we really enjoyed our meals, we were a party of six and ordered six different plates, five sandwiches and one salad.
