Pizza's not bad but not anything super special either.
I loved this place! I was here for lunch solo on a weekday and sat at the bar. The staff are very friendly, and the pizzas are delicious (the Hearst was amazing, but definitely big enough for 2 people!). There was outside seating but it was pretty full when I arrived at 1230 on a nice day during summer. I definitely recommend Archive. More...
Great burger and brew for lunch.
Tasty food and drinks. Pretty loud. Great salad portions and pleasant food presentation.
Really good sandwiches. Followed our friend that was getting a Mealpal. We ordered a bigger version of what he got.
Very friendly staff. Enjoyed watching the playoff game there. The jalapeno artichoke dip was very good
Had an amazing club sandwich during a lunch with a co-worker, very fast service, great food and a good beer selection!
We were staying at the Marriott downtown and this is a few blocks away. It was great for dinner and a beer.
Great street patio to watch the world go by. Delicious beer also an asset
Perfectly adequate food, drinks and service. Our lunches were all nice, but I can't say I would go out of my way to eat here again.
This place is much better on the inside than it looks on first glance from the outside. The food is anchored in pizza, with a really long list of shareable sides and salads. Oh, try The Hearst - as pizza goes it was great. They do wonder a bit into craft cocktails. I think you are wiser drinking beer - but it seems everyone has to take their own twist on a Manhattan no a days. Short answer - I would come back. Service was prompt, but not over attentive and certainly very friendly. More...
Great little bar with a good selection of beer and tasty sandwiches. The pizzas are by no means bad, but I think I prefer the sandwiches. The pack the tables together so you'll be nice and cozy with your neighbors. If your planning in coming here to eat I'd make a reservation. More...
Good sandwiches and very good staff. Interior is busy and noisy.
Great spot to grab food and/or drink after work. The pizza is great!
I came here with a friend for a late lunch (around 2pm on a Friday afternoon). We were visiting San Francisco for the weekend. The good: Excellent, friendly, and attentive service; tasty drinks, willing to accommodate changes due to dietary restrictions (without a fee); the food is delicious and appropriately portioned to leave you full but not stuffed. I had the turkey club and my companion had the porchetta. Both were wonderful. They are served with house made pickles and potato chips. The bad: the drink menu is VERY limited. They do NOT have a full bar. So, if none of the drinks on their menu tickle your fancy, you're out luck--I was pretty bummed about the drinks. That being said, I enjoyed meal here but not enough to rush back.Drinks pictured: Archive Buck & Painted lady More...
Although it was a quick lunch break, but we really enjoyed our meals, we were a party of six and ordered six different plates, five sandwiches and one salad. Everyone was amazed how delicious and good looking the plates are. I had the pastrami and pepper sandwich and it was so delicious and the portion was good. Highly recommended More...
Good drink, great service, and a chill atmosphere
Small location but the sandwich was amazing
Love the watermelon mixed drink!!!
Went here a little later after a convention and the apps and pizza was good. I would definitely go back.
Moscone pizza was delicious. I prefer this place over jersey pizza in terms of price and ambiance.
This place and the bar next door seriously felt like the same bar with slightly different decor and a focus on pizza.Had a decent cocktail and good wings. Their beer list is decent enough as well. More...
Good cocktails and service.
Nice and cozy place. Waitress was charming and attentive. We had two cocktails, 2 draft beers , an appetizer and a pizza for 50 bucks! That is really awesome for this expensive city. We will be back! Only down thing: very noisy. Scream to be heard lol. More...
Fantastic pizza place, super busy at lunch so be early if you want some Za!
Amazing sandwiches, pizzas, and drinks
Awesome sandwiches, but a bit overpriced.
Great neighborhood place
I got a meal through mealpal here. Unfortunately they forgot to include my side item. Otherwise the sandwich I got was very delicious and the menu looks pretty good. I will be back to try thier full menu. More...
Hip ambiance, gf pizza was good not outstanding
Great pizza and a great beer list!
Nice place. Good atmosphere very friendly staff and even better pizza! Definitely check this place out!
Nice cozy ambience. Beer list is okay. Food is great.
Es un lugar con buen ambiente y muy sabrosas sus diferentes variedades de pizza

Chicken sliders! Delish
Great food, beers, and staff. Highly recommend
A great place to go to for after-hours drinks. Pizza and the small bites are delicious.im not sure if they serve cocktails, only wine and beer. There menu has changed a little bit and I think it was better before. Good staff but sometimes I was confused about the seating policy. Half restaurant hañf pub-like environment More...
Great pizza, salads sandwiches!
Nice place with great pizza. The pork sliders are excellent. The service is good, and the beer selection is great. The restaurant is a little cramped.
The spicy pastrami on rye
Great place good happy hour
Excellent wood fired pizza selection along with local beers and cocktails. Service is also top notch. The place gets packed quickly.
The ambience is amazing! Good beer and good food.
Great food. The pizzas are large enough to split between 3 or 4 people and the sandwiches come with plenty of meet. The presentation is fabulous too and the atmosphere is classy, but still comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Definitely a great place to visit if you are ever in San Francisco. Busy with the after work crowd, in a great location and has a good selection of food and drink. Had the pizza, loved it. Great staff, would recommend sitting at the bar if it's available. More...
Great beers and they have a happy hour menu
Great little place downtown. No booze but sliders are great. Limited beer selection, but good for cocktails. I know non booze but cocktails is an oxymoron.
Tasty so rich. Salad was good enough and I dont have to talk about how awesome the pizzas here.
I ended up getting the Hearst Pizza ($18) with an egg (+$2) that I split with my coworker. At first I thought it was pretty small especially since I was sharing it but half was definitely enough. They don't skimp on the ingredients so the pizza was topped with loads of mushrooms and chunks of thick bacon pieces (YUM). The crust was thin and crispy, but still held up with all the toppings and egg. More...
A+ happy hour and bar food
Good food and selection of beer
After walking around the SFMoMA for 2 hours, my friend and I were STARVING and looking for somewhere to grab a quick lunch. It was around 3pm, so a couple of the restaurants that we checked out first were already closed to set up for dinner. I browsed Yelp for a few mins and came across Archive. As soon as we saw "Wine Bar" in their description, we said "Yep!" and headed over. More...
Enjoyable (and gluten fee) pizza
Lovely place downtown, great pizzas, even better drinks. Can be a bit loud at times, but then again, isn't that the whole point?
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food!
Great after-work spot for food and drinks. The pizza is delicious! They aren't open on the weekends which is unfortunate.
Great place for lunch. Tasty pizza and sweet shrimp sandwich is a must try.
Fantastic wine list, extremely friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Be sure to try an orange wine if you're adventurous!
pizza is ok if you have it there
Food was really good. Had the pulled pork. Kind of pricey for not much food.
Cool bar right in the middle of the city. The DiMaggio pizza is a favorite and it's a decent size for two to three people. For lunch, the Pastrami and Peppers is a winner. The sandwich is huge and the pastrami is delicious with the kick from the peppers. They also have good beer and interesting cocktails. I tried the Watermelon Fog. It looked pretty with a white foam on top, but that foam was very salty/bitter? It wasn't my favorite, but the actual drink was good once you got past the foam. The place gets really crowded after 5. If you want a table and not have to wait you're better off getting there at exactly 5 or coming in after the dinner rush. More...
Stopped here on a whim after a long day of sightseeing. Seated immediately and serve every quickly. Excellent, though small, wine list and thoroughly enjoyed the pizza Moscone (add mushrooms - it definitely sets it off).
Usually pretty busy, but has great pizza and beer.
Great wild mushroom, garlic, and goat cheese pizza, and a few nice local beers on tap.
The caramel malt was PHENOMENAL. The pizza was pretty good too. Not a great value, a little loud to talk with friends during happy hour... Great service, good overall, but wish the value were a little bit better. More...
Awesome! Came here on a friday night, the place was busy but not so busy that we couldn't find a table at around 9pm. Ordered a Dimaggio 'Pie' and a mac n cheese- to everyone who comes here, ABSOLUTELY try the Orzo mac n cheese. It was amazingggg.the servers are great and the bus boys even nicer, definitely coming back, perhaps next time for happy hour~ heard great things. More...
This is a great place to grab pie and beer with a friend. Not very big, but I like that. Good tap beer and wine selection.
came here and got a margharita pizza, and a colleague got the seafood roll.both were amazing, but staff was a bit inattentive.
Gastropub with a limited menu of food, which isn't a bad thing. Beers were cold and the food was good. Nice place to hang out after work.
The pizza and ceasar salads are fantastic! There's always a good draft selection and the location is simply beautiful
Amazingly crafted cocktails with fresh syrups and herbs... I tried the meatballs and pork belly slider and both were fantastic, but the slider was the star of my meal. A cozy setting and friendly staff round out this very enjoyable dining experience. Def worth a try amongst the myriad of places in SF. More...
Great place to eat and drink caters to the downtown working crowd as it is closed on weekends The exposed brick adds to a old world san francisco feel. The drink choices are solid I had the mission chicken sandwich which was amazing be sure to check out the tap room next door same decor same owners More...
Good pizza (especially the white truffle) and a small but mighty selection of beer. They don't have a lot else to offer outside of sandwiches and salads, but it makes for a good lunch spot.
One of the tastiest meals I have had in a bar stool. I had a salad with the meatballs on the side and savored every bite. The cheese on the salad had such an intense flavour that I was sure to not waste too much in a given bite. Very good.
Came here for lunch one day around noon. Gets pretty busy a round lunch time. Staff was friendly. Ordered a beer and a sandwich. The chicken and meatball are both good. Worth checking out. $$ More...
Yum! Surprisingly good food for a random place I walked into.Wednesday evening, around 8:30pm, two of us came here for a late dinner. We were seated immediately and given fantastic service. We ordered two different seasonal drinks, both of which hit the spot. We shared the butternut squash pizza - the squash was perfectly cooked, not too soggy, not raw. The goat cheese was creamy, the pine nuts crunchy, and the crust was soft but still crisp enough on the bottom to hold up. I'd love to come another time and order some non pizza items! More...
Great pizza. Perfect portions. MAC & CHEEEEEESE! And the servers know their beer styles.
Decent place, cool atmosphere.
Staff was excellent and friendly. Drinks and pizza were delicious.
Great place to hang at after work as it is a busy and fun location. Their house drinks are delicious and they have wine as well. The ambiance and exposed brick wall adds an industrial/old SF historic feel to it. Their food is also excellent and their pizzas, too. You can't go wrong stopping by here because it's definitely vibrant! More...
Great pizza, great service, would recommend
I liked the atmosphere and food at Archive. The pizza was delicious and the drinks served are quite good. The place has an intimate feel since its not that large and it can fill up with a large crowd quickly. The owners and bartenders are nice and keep the place lively. There's a couple of outdoor tables, but the real party is inside. More...
Great pizzas. The manhattan is really good.
