Paul. Completed the drawings and sent them to planning.
We had already been refused, Paul tweaked the side extension.
Now we have been granted permission.
I cannot thank him enough wr thought our new extension woild never happen.

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Most garages are suitable but size plays a major part in the disision, if you can only get one car in the garage without extra room you might be looking at extending the garage if you were to install a small bathroom.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Most Garages are single skin, (one layer of brickwork) so a second wall to the inner is needed usually constructed of timber,
this is also used to place ridged insulation and a service gap for pipes and electrics ,
the height of the ceiling normally only just passes regulation Hight of 2Mertres.
The floor and walls also need insulation of 100mm to 125mm, this means only sometimes the floor has to be lowered or the roof raised
to keep to building regulations .
