Terrible company AVOID AVOID AVOID. The glass canopy they supplied distorted dangerously under its own weight. The glass has been judged unsafe by our Building Inspector and other independent experts. The canopy was manufactured by Architectural Fibreglass Mouldings and supplied by The Canopy Shop. We wanted a curved glass canopy to install ourselves. Having sent photos of the door, they suggested we had a different size and also made suggestions about the fixings (there was no cost difference as a result of the changes made). I as really impressed by the personal service we received. The quality of the product is excellent, and was delivered by them so no worries about it being damaged in transit. I spent several months looking for a company to supply me with a uPVC Door canopy. My criteria was that the canopy had to be maintenance free, hard wearing, long lasting and most important aesthetically improve the door area and shelter my front door. Just had an Overdoor Canopy fitted by AFM and the finished product is beautiful. The guys that fitted it arrived on time and were so polite and respectful. I was kept up to date constantly with the progress of my Canopy manufacture. Phone conversations were professional and everything went smoothly from start to finish. My neighbour came round the following day to order the same item. If your thinking of adding a touch of elegance to your property, I would highly recommend AFM. Can't rate Architectural Fibreglass Mouldings highly enough. Having researched canopies on the internet extensively, it was evident that they had canopies that were vastly superior to other companies. I was concerned that a company that deals with large projects and contracts would not afford a domestic customer like myself the necessary time, but I needn't have worried. Paige and Abigail were superb in taking me through the steps of ordering the correct size and configuration and were eternally patient when I kept sending them incorrect measurements. They were always polite and pointed me in the right direction. I needed the canopy delivered sooner than the stated turnaround times and Saj was amazing at expediating the process. They maintained contact throughout and the canopy arrived as stated and on time. Even the guy (sorry, can't racall his name) who delivered the canopy was especially helpful and courteous. After sales care was also superb as I needed extra long fixings as I was attaching to 90mm insulation. The team sent out additional fixings the same day, at no extra cost. The canopy looks amazing in situ and neighbours constantly comment on the design and quality. Finished off our design project perfectly.
