Architecture, Engineering and Surveying

Surveys, inspection and reports including: building surveys, conditions surveys, dilapidations surveys and pre-purchase surveys.
Drawing audits and site inspections of work in progress to assess compliance with contract, conformity to statutary requirements and consistency with codes of practice, national standards and general good practice. Assisting in dispute resoltion, achieving high quality and satisfactory completion.

Building Defects Investigation
With over 2 decades practical experience in the prevention investigation and diagnosis of building defects, we have helped resolve in excess of £50m pounds worth of defective construction and investigated a similar value of works which were wrongly held to be defective. This work has extended over much of Europe and occassionally to other continents.
Expert Witness
Expert witness appointments include: single joint expert twice, prosecution expert twice and party expert over fifty times with expert evidence prepared for disputes governed variously by the regulations, standards and laws of: the Channel Islands, France, Gibraltar, Holland, Hugary, Isle of Man, Poland, Scotland, Seychelles, Spain, England & Wales.
Expert evidence has covered: faulty construction, copyright infringement, compliance with statute, breach of contract and delay.
Nine cases went to a full hearing and were settled in my client's favour. The rest were settled satisfactorilly out of court.
