Marcus, is a brilliant trainer I’ve been training with him for a few years now. Love the workouts he sets me as I love to challenge my body. If you struggle with a certain exercise he will guide you all the way. Giving you that little extra push. He is a very patient person and will also find an alternative if you really are struggling with a certain exercise. I highly recommend Marcus can’t thank him enough over the last few years for guiding me in the right direction. I’ve built my strength up with his guidance and motivation. More...

Pretty good way to start a Saturday morning in a company of friendly and positive people that will motivate you to drag yourself out of the bed and do something good for yourself if you didn't spend all your savings on drinks the night before. Collaborative work-outs prepared by the energetic and funny PTs create a fun atmosphere, and suddenly somehow burpees and running appear to be not SO bad, and even a little bit pleasant at times.My only issue was with the ash pitch I was not prepared to do push ups on, but fortunately towels were provided by the caring Sacha and Marcus :)Also really enjoyed the post-workout lunch together having a nice wee chat with everyone and sharing our fitness journeys and experiences.Will definitely come again when I am back in town! Marcus has been paramount to our continued attendance at the FabAbs class in SWEAT for the whole year. We have increased our abdominal strength hugely and we are so sorry to see you go, and to not have the opportunity to thank you and say good bye in person. I have had a few PT sessions with Archangel Fitness at Sweat Glasgow. Very focused sessions, very knowledgeable and goals driven. Spin classes are fiery with an eclectic playlist to motivate you through it. Abs class is very measured and targeted. Sure fire results! More...

I began working with Archangel Fitness early 2016. I was a member of a gym and attended a few spin and HIIT classes. I’d never been a fan of strength training or using equipment of any kind. I always preferred body weight workouts. That all changed. Marcus at Archangel introduced me to weights, slowly and steadily. I had a bit of a fear to be honest, it was for the serious gym players, but how wrong I was. I had been diagnosed with a degenerative neck condition in 2016 so I had to be super careful. Marcus worked out a plan for me, adapting my workouts not only for my neck but also for my limb deformity (a birth defect). As it turns out the neck issue possibly stemmed from my body overcompensating for this, it was all factored in. A bit of a revelation. Late 2017, 6 months on from my diagnosis I was signed off physio. The physio was mighty impressed at the progress I had made. The strength training I had been doing had contributed massively to building up my neck muscles and giving me back control of my life in all honesty. I only wish more people would embrace weightlifting. At the time you’re thinking “this is surely damaging me or is going to hurt”, then once your body becomes used to it, you realise that working your muscles gives you the strength your body needs to work effectively and to its utmost. Don’t get me wrong Marcus will push you hard and some days you’ll not like him much, but I’ll never look back now. I believe everyone should have a Personal Trainer.
