Worst agency and landlords I've ever had. They are out to get all the money they can, do not be fooled. Agree with previous reviews, unprofessional and unfriendly, not nice people to deal with, wish I had listened to the reviews. Left feeling scammed out of my money. Would definitely not recommend.

If I could give them negative stars then I would. These people are hilariously bad at their job, the business is run from their house rather than an office, and their website is appaulingly unprofessional, a four-year-old could run this business better than they could.

I'm visiting my partner who lives in one of their properties. AP York stormed in today and were very rude to me while I was stood on the doorstep waiting for my partner to answer the door, they also purposley pushed in my wing mirror while carrying out rubbish.

My partner explained to me that these people often treat the tenants poorly and break their side of the tenancy agreement. AP York are currently trying to fine these tennants for various costs that were not addressed in the agreement, and hurtling personal verbal abuse at the tennants and their guests.

Watch as AP York reply to this review with a snarky comment and prove my point that they are rude and unproffesional, and I will laugh so very much.

Reccomendations for this business to improve:
1.Seek help for their mental health,
2.Get a better lawyer if they plan to continue breaking the contract and various laws.
3.Grow up and run their business like the professional they're supposed to be.
4.Just give up and shut your business down, you're never going to be a success with that attitude.

What are you going to do, sue me for slander? All I've done is leave a review based on how rude and pathetic you are and I've got a response of the entire contract explained that I didn't want or need. The fact that the tennants of this house allow rubbish to pile up does not entitle you to hurtle personal abuse at guests. Shut yourselves down. Period.

Whilst they certainly don't suffer fools, have found them very good at their job - finding us tenants.

Lived in one of their houses for half a year, moved out for personal reasons but was very glad to be shot of them. Really unfriendly and unprofessional. Either don't answer the phone at all or sound snarky and send passive aggressive emails. Make promises and don't keep them. I moved out in March, found someone to take over my tenancy, which means my tenancy ended, so I asked for my deposit back - which was not with the Deposit Protection Scheme by the way! They said they'd transfer it, they didn't, then said they couldn't until my tenancy had ended, even though it already had.

I finally got it back a week ago - more than half a year since I moved out and more than a month after the whole tenancy ended. Even though other people in the house were much worse tenants I got back the least amount, due to an "admin fee" for a replacement tenant.

Disgusting bunch, don't listen to what they say in response to this. 2 stars only because the house was fairly nice for a student house.

What an absolutely atrocious service I've experienced from this company.

I drove 3hrs to view a property that I was extremely keen on - with similar properties hard to come by. After viewing the property, I explained that I was very keen on paying the deposit to remove it from the market. However, after insisting I accompany them to the office right there and then to pay the deposit, I was explicitly assured, and even convinced, that I should not come to the office - that I should pay online that evening. In fact I can quote "I promise to you that I will hold the property until tomorrow afternoon, to give you some time to place a deposit before any more viewings". After reluctantly accepting that this was an innocent promise based on the fact I'd made it clear I'd gone to great lengths to secure this place, and that I couldn't simply come to the office and pay, I went to relax having finally found somewhere after months of searching. I was chuffed!

About 1hr later I receive an email bluntly explaining that the property was gone as someone had come into the office and signed there and then. Feeling quite amazed and very upset, I called them to confirm if this was true and received a completely un-apologetic - almost confrontational - regurgitation of their ironic "first-come-first-served" policy. "What don't you understand about it? Explain to me how this situation is not first-come-first-served?" they said. No sympathy, no explanations, no apologies.

What an utterly unprofessional organisation who are quite evidently used to wasting people's time. I wonder what it would have been like to rent a property with them, or whether a hollow apology will appear online now this is public...25/08/16

EDIT: 1hr is plenty of time to travel 2miles across a city centre, even via walking. I knew exactly that a deposit was required to secure the house and is why I thoroughly insisted on coming to the office. The unprofessional thing was to advise me that no one else would take the property and in fact insist I should not come to the office. Clearly they have no idea what their own market is like or what their own policies are.

Used them for a few years - when I sold the property I got stung with a tenant find fee I didn't sign up for, or was notified about! Didn't get an invoice, just had it taken off money the company owed me.....
