Training at Aptitude Fitness is a fantastic workout experience with the winning combination of a motivating trainer in a positive gym atmosphere! I've been training with Justin for a little over a month now, and believe he is one of the most experienced and committed trainers around. I started training 3x a week, as part of a group session, I really enjoy the challenge he puts into the sessions. He is a human machine, like he says "Don't use machines, become one"! He believes in using kettle bells and body resistance.
Justin is focused on helping me achieve my goals at the same time he ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. When I first started, getting off the floor was a challenge for me but within this short time, I actually feel more flexible and don't grunt when I have to get up off the floor.
He is extremely reliable & punctual, always has the daily exercise routine planned. I highly recommend Justin to anyone looking to improve their fitness with a dedicated trainer. You ROCK Justin Tafoya!

I just wrapped up another week of training with Justin and I can't say enough about his class! I've been an athlete my whole life playing a variety of sports--basketball, volleyball, soccer, track/field, and now, my passion for golf. I have kept a pretty slender build, however, in recent years I've injured myself more than I ever did playing at a competitive level in my younger days. My reason for working with a coach like Justin is because he understands my fitness goals to build strength while also preventing future injuries. He would rather have me do five good reps with proper form, than to do ten reps without any technique and risk injuring myself. I like Justin's approach of incorporating movement into strength training; he always finds a way to relate our movements to everyday lifestyle examples. After just a few weeks working with Justin, I can see and feel a difference in my body. The results have definitely spilled over into my golf game; my golf swing and the distance I can now reach with my golf clubs have improved by at least ten yards, if not, more! The people I've met in Justin's class are so committed and we all encourage each other during every class--we are each other's cheerleaders. I cannot say enough about Justin and Aptitude Fitness! I never saw results until I started training with Justin. He is amazing at what he does and really focuses on your goals to make you an all around better human being. I move better and I feel better.

I’ve been training with Justin Tafoya at Aptitude Fitness for six months. Justin is an excellent trainer. He creates a personalized program, based on your fitness level and goals. The workouts are varied and fun. Justin motivates me to work hard and I’ve made great progress in strength, mobility and stamina. Justin’s commitment to safety and correct form is impressive. I've been training with Justin for almost two years now and I would definitely say that I'm in the best shape that I've ever been in. The workouts are always total body inclusive and well rounded. I have received training from Justin since December 2015. My skill level with the kettlebell, strength, and stamina have increased tremendously. I have never been one to respond to the traditional "bro" workouts i.e. leg day, arm day, back day, with some cardio peppered in. Every muscle group gets it every day with kettlebells. After years of trying the usual gym routine and even some home workout programs I finally hit my stride in the health and fitness world when I found Justin Tafoya and his kettlebell regimen. Working out no longer felt like a chore and I truly have a passion for working out. Justin at Aptitude Fitness amazed me with his ability to program workouts and techniques with kettlebells that have a practical and functional effect on my everyday life in and out of the gym. The results along my journey with him speak for themselves and there is no turning back for me at this point. I am committed to the craft he has taught me. The major bonus of this place are the people. It is without a doubt an extension of my family. We all challenge and push each other but support one another whole heartedly and you won't find that many other places. The dedication is evident in the clients as well as the trainer.
