One of my most favorite concert venues of all time, with impeccable pedigree: it's where John Cage's 4'33" premiered 1952 (witch Adam Tendler perfectly performed again July 4th 2015)

Great open air covered acoustical venue in the beautiful countryside of the Catskills just outside of Woodstock. I particularly love the solo piano concerts of Kenny Barron, Bill Charlap, Fred Hersch and the guitar trio of Julian Lage.

The acoustics are truly perfect. The venue is like being in a dream. The programming is world class. It's is clear why it has been designated as a multi-starred national historic treasure.

Q&As

Listening to what my client wants. Attention to detail and making my client feel comfortable with me and trust that I'll make them look their best.

This depends on the project. But I always ask my clients what they want - the outcome of their session.

I love the fact that every wedding is different and I can collaborate with my clients to get exactly what they are looking for. This is important - it is my client's wedding - and I feel honored when I am selected to create memories of one their most important life events.

I've always been a photographer. I started when I was just a "tweeny". I travelled a lot on business and when I was a film producer and I always had a camera with me. When my work started to get some attention and some awards, I decided that it was time to to concentrate on what had always been an avocation and turn it into a vocation. I photograph a lot of concerts, classical, jazz and rock and other events so I'm used to working under all sorts of conditions.

I am a people person and I like to think that I make my clients feel comfortable with me . I am easy to get on with. I don't get flustered and, most importantly, a wedding is not about me. I like to be as inconspicuous as possible so that, once we are sure that we have all the formal shots, I can work to get as many candid shots of the bride and groom and their guests as possible. It's my job to make sure that my clients have confidence in me - that I will get what they want so that they don't have to worry and can relax and enjoy themselves. I try to use available light as much as possible as it is more flattering and I encourage my clients to ask me as many questions as they want.
I will travel up to 100 miles from Woodstock.i
