My husband and I used Apres Events for wedding cinematography. If you've looked at their website, you know what incredible work they do (from drone footage, to exceptional production, to beautiful music licensing, etc. etc.)... but rest assured, they are just as wonderful to coordinate with beforehand and to work with on the day of. They are lovely, thoughtful, generous, and TALENTED people--and my husband and I could not be happier with our decision to 1) prioritize cinematography and 2) work with these beautiful people. The Apres Events team is fantastic. They are so easy to work with, make everyone feel comfortable being photographed, and deliver an AMAZING product. My husband and I were married in Jackson, WY in July 2017. We purchased a wedding video service as well as photography from Karissa and her team. The quality of both are incredible; so professional. They captured every moment from every corner of our wedding venue, so as a bride with 180 guests, I still feel like I didn't miss out on anything! Karissa was fantastic to work with. Before our wedding, she was responsive and professional and asked all the right questions. The day of our wedding, I was even more impressed by her infectious energy and attention to delivering a fantastic experience for us. She really knows what she's doing! She understood how to capitalize on every beautiful aspect of the venue.. and grabbed us at all the right moments. I was really impressed with her eye gorgeous shots and they all turned out amazing. If I could give Karissa and her team more than 5 stars, I would. They are that incredible! Every one of the photographers and videographers seamlessly captured our wedding day. They were naturals when interacting with guests and they made everyone feel important and included on the big day. I never once felt that I had a camera shoved in my face, or that I was being taken away from the celebration. Karissa and the team was mindful of our wants and needs and worked their hardest to make our photography vision come to life. Karissa of Après Events did an amazing job capturing our engagement and wedding photos. My husband doesn't really like to pose for pictures, but she was able to give us direction for poses and movements that felt natural and comfortable for us as a couple but look great on camera. We were able to relax and be ourselves but still look super photogenic in all our pics! She has a great eye for her surroundings and found lots of opportunities to capture us in front of some stunning and interesting backdrops that were unexpected. She really loves taking pictures and it's evident during the session and in the resulting photos. She also made sure that we had fun doing it, which I'm sure helped us look happy and relaxed! More...
