April's Garden did the flowers for our wedding and I was beyond impressed. The flowers and colors were absolutely gorgeous. I was with a few friends when we picked them up and we all kept starring at the flowers with a loss for how to describe how beautiful they were. I didn't give much guidance, other than I wanted something classy and they absolutely nailed it with the bouquet, flowers for the cake, and boutonnieres. We worked with Molly from April's Garden for our wedding and had a great experience. She was very responsive and helpful with all of my questions. She kept a folder with everything we discussed, including pictures, so that she could keep track of my requests. After making the decision to elope to Durango from Oklahoma a friend of a friend recommended April's Garden for my bouquet and groom's boutonniere. ....BEST RECOMMENDATION EVER!! I made contact with Molly 4 days before leaving to Colorado. After speaking on the phone and sending her pics of our wedding outfits & the vision I had for our elopement I left the creative process to the expert and she KNOCKED it out of the park!! She literally pulled the vision out of my brain out and made it into a reality! My bouquet was DRAMATIC and GORGEOUS with the boutonniere coordinating beautifully without being "matchy-matchy". The day before the ceremony I decided I did not want to wear a veil, but felt I needed some kind of adornment for my hair. With very little notice they were able to create the PERFECT hair barrette that coordinated perfectly with bouquet & boutonniere and looked stunning in my hair. After the elopement I had the shop deliver "Thank You" flowers to Candace Cross Photography and they were SPECTACULAR! Would highly recommend April's Garden for any floral needs. I recently got married in Telluride and was struggling with finding a florist that was not insanely expensive. I reached out to April's Gardens after seeing reviews from other brides and I am so happy I did!   They were so easy to work with (and I live out of state) and created the most BEAUTIFUL flowers. I wanted a more rustic feel to my wedding with wildflowers but had no other ideas on where to start. Molly and her team created beautiful centerpieces that she was able to also use at my ceremony and created perfect bouquets for me and my bridesmaids . I really left the colors and flowers up to April's Gardens and I am so happy I did. April's Garden fulfilled our unique request with our choice of colors to specific design for decorating Gazebo at Echo Basin Ranch in Mancos, CO for our son's wedding on Sept 16th. Colleen was very nice, very knowledgeable and personally worked with us on creating a design with combination of colorful flowers and tulle for outdoor wedding venue. Colleen & her staff started working on the decoration at sunrise and completed the decoration by noon as promised. Although wedding was at 4:00 pm, I wanted to make sure the place was ready in time for wedding and our guests who traveled from different part of the country had chance to seat back & enjoy the natural beauty of outdoor wedding along with beautiful flower arrangement. The sprays on top going across with hanging flowers and sprays on both side polls going down with colorful lilies were perfect. The Pomander hanging in middle of the Gazebo with all roses was so beautiful & small bouquets on isle chairs were gorgeous. The flowers were vibrant and arrangements looked spectacular, especially in the evening sun. Although the place was decorated earlier in the day, flowers stayed fresh throughout the whole evening and till next morning. I went to April's Garden to order flowers for my mom's memorial service.  I came with a few pictures of what I had in mind for flowers around her urn. I also showed the color of the urn and asked them for recommendations of flower colors to compliment it.  After discussing the arrangement we decided to add two additional side arrangements for candles.  She was very patient in working through the details and providing recommendations.  The price quoted was great (much better than anticipated) so we proceeded with the order.  When I picked up the arrangements two days later, I could not have been more pleased. The arrangements were absolutely beautiful and met every request and more. I could see they were happy to see that I was happy with the flowers as they knew they were for my mom's service.  I felt they were very invested in making the arrangements perfect and special. After my lovely lady and I both being sick over Mothers Day weekend I was able to pick up my order late, thankfully they understood and it was still there. Then, after I got my amazing hanging basket home, it died within 36 hours. I went back in to the store, showed them pictures of what happened and explained the situation and they replaced my entire basket! I was only trying to figure out why this happened, as I was sure to keep it in the proper light and water requirements and yet they gave me an entirely new basket. That went above and beyond in my opinion and I will make sure any flowers I ever need, ever again, will always come from Aprils Gardens. Along with their exquisite, artful bouquets, the store is filled with gifts for everyone. ..beautiful and varied house plants, jewelry by local artists, stuffed animals and children's books, Animas chocolate, cards, and other items that make this often a one-stop shop for gifts. My husband and I got married at the Silverpick Lodge in October 2016, and Colleen did our flowers...she is hands-down fantastic! !! I told her I would love for everything to feel and look earthy, Bohemian, asymmetrical, unique, woodsy, rustic, etc.—and wow did she deliver!! We were blown away with how beautiful all of our flowers and décor were!! She did these perfectly gorgeous boho-chic flower crowns for me, my maids of honor, and our flower girls. She did an amazing job at incorporating all of my fave colors into our décor and she made it super unique and just, well, it was perfect. Colleen from April's Garden made all the centerpieces, sprays, and bouquets for my daughter's recent wedding in Durango. They were ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! I have never met anyone more knowledgeable about flowers and greenery. Colleen spent several hours with my daughter and provided her with tons of photos so she could see exactly what types of flowers and greens she could choose from, and gave lots of very appreciated, helpful suggestions concerning which blooms would be in season, which were less expensive, which would last the longest and not wilt during the course of the day, which would add to my daughter's vision of a "wild, messy" bouquet of wildflowers, which flowers would work well with her color scheme, etc. Colleen is an extremely friendly, accommodating, and personable young woman and very professional. She will work with you and within your budget to give you everything you want, and is quick to reply to texts and phone calls. So many of our guests remarked on the vibrant colors, beautiful flowers and unique seed pods in our centerpieces, and I loved the fact that Colleen made each bridesmaid's bouquet just a little different. I will never forget the look on my daughter's face when the bridal bouquet was brought to her. She was so delighted and in awe at how beautiful it turned out.
