I run The West Berkshire Gundog Club and we use the App to let our members know what is happening on a weekly basis at the club.
After being let down by my last App company going bust , I was very much in need of a reliable company to build another App and get it up and running quickly.
It was like a breath of fresh air speaking to Graham at Apps4U, an honest sincere person that wanted to help without the first words being about money.
Graham set the new App up on Apple and Android phones and on our computers quickly and most effectively in a very short space of time.

We could not find anyone who could provide us with a solution to our data needs. We needed to design an electronic signing in system so that our members could tell us the reason for their attendance at the club.
We are a community amateur sports club (CASC) and in order to retain our tax benefits we needed to be able to prove that at least 50% of our membership are regularly engaged in the sport of sailing, or at the very least an activity supporting the sport.
Apps4U came up with a great simple touch screen solution. They worked in partnership with us and our hardware provider to arrive at the best possible solution. The data that the system generates now shows that the large majority of our members are regular sailors, or keen supporters of the sport through training, maintenance, and governance. Not just propping up the bar for most of the year.
We are delighted with the system and will continue to work with Apps4U to further develop the scope of the product so it can be used by other CASC clubs.

“Could you build a mobile app that streams live video footage of the animals in our care back to their owners?
”, that was the main challenge I gave Apps4U. Not only did they do this, but they also took the time to learn about our business and added a whole bunch of additional value in there too! A week later, we had a prototype and a couple of weeks after that, they delivered the finished product, amazing! I have to say, from start to finish it’s been a joy working with the team, they totally over-delivered and even helped us launch and promote our apps. Our business has seen over a 20% up-lift on bookings and training class’s attendance so it’s going to pay for itself in no time. Social engagement is better than it has ever been; it’s one of the best business purchases we have ever made. What do you love most about your job?
Lots of things, I'm very lucky :)
I'm passionate about what we do and I think that's really important, it just shows in everything someone does if they believe in their own services. I class myself as very lucky to be able to work in an industry I enjoy so much.
Most of all, work has to be fun and we have lots of fun along the way too :)
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been in the IT and software development business for over 27 years now. I started as a junior programmer back in the 90's and I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to progress my career into management and to that of Technical Director. In 2015 my two fellow directors and I bought out the company. We had grown it from £3m to £15m turnover p.a. and in June 2016 we sold to Konica Minolta ( https://tinyurl.com/ycsh9s2n) The company was now operating in two countries and we employed over 150 staff. It was a fantastic journey and THE best training ground for me to learn the ropes before starting on my own. Having always wanted to do my own thing I finally took the plunge and Apps4U ( a mobile app and software development services company) was born. I've not looked back since... :)
