Inspection of site and quote given on the first day. The boss of Apple Paving was not impressed that the driveway was covered in cement and concrete following an odd-job man's efforts.
Apple paving were the only firm to offer removing the cement without using high pressure wash. High pressure would not have worked as the cement was too ground in. I also required modification to the ends of the drive and a widening of the pathway to the house. I received a quote from all three companies and went with Apple Paving.

The quality of the work undertaken by one hard working gentleman and the way he undertook it was exemplary. The only slight downside was the misunderstanding over the path extension. This, however, was swiftly corrected and the new path is splendid.
The area was completely cleared of materials following the work in a thorough manner.

I now await to see how the drive fares once the car is regularly driven across it. The consolation is that I have been assured that all work completed by Apple Paving is guaranteed. More...

Responded very quickly to the advert. Apple Paving, James and the team removed a large concrete slab from the garden, levelled it and turfed it. We have recently had our tarmac driveway taken up and replaced with brick paving. We had seen this transformation at a neighbour's house and were so impressed that we asked Apple Paving to do the same for ours. We had a survey and a quote done within a couple of hours of making the call, and they started two days later. The team were highly professional and very hard working - starting first thing in the morning through to dusk. They are excellent communicators, always pointing out where or when there might be an issue due to weather conditions or supplies. They work quickly but are also perfectionist so will not leave the job until it is absolutely complete and to your satisfaction. We found the team easy to work with, reliable and hardworking with an eye for the finer details. Apple Paving recently installed a new gravel driveway at our grade II listed home. The work consisted of removing the existing asphalt, levelling the ground, install granite sett edging around the perimeter and across the boundary with the pavement; putting down a permeable membrane barrier and then installing the gravel.

Apple Paving advised on the selection of the stone; silver granite setts and Cotswold buff gravel and secured all materials.

Throughout the job the contractors were polite, hardworking and diligent. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them. More...
