Received a gift certificate from my kids for Christmas. I let it expire! But.. Kari Martinson squeezed me in for an appointment and took the gift certificate even though it had expired. Last week I had a 60 min. Deep Tissue massage by Katy; it was fantastic!  She must know the anatomy of the back very well because she worked where the rhomboids attach to the shoulder blades very well.  So relaxing!I really like Apex has furnished and decorated the building.  Very tasteful and relaxing.  I got a tour of the place, met the trainer: nice guy.I look forward to my next visit there.I had a massage in April; I learned that Katy is leaving Apex.  I plan to make further appts. with her at her new location. I have been going to Allison at Apex wellness for Swedish massages for a year. Allison is a great massage therapist and is very attentive to my needs, knowing where all my tight spots are. I just completed at 6 week cupping package with Allison and she was very informative throughout the process. She explained to me the procedures and answered all my questions. Together we worked on spots in my back that massage wasn't able to help. After each session I felt lighter and much more relaxed. To test the therapy we did a 60 min massage the week before the sessions started and then the week after the sessions ended. I was amazed at how much cupping worked. For the first time in a long time I am pain free in my upper back. Allison was then able to use massage to supplement the therapy and work on muscles that had now loosened enough to work with traditional massage techniques.
