About

I help people who want to get leaner, stronger and happier achieve their fitness goals. Most of my clients are new to exercise or don't like the typical gym environment. As someone who has lost a third of her body weight I know what it's like to feel heavy and unfit, and how confusing all the different advice can be!

Kim is an awesome trainer, she takes a personal interest in everyone she helps and she is a real relatable person! I think anyone lucky enough to have Kim help them achieve their goals is a very lucky person. She helped me when I thought there was no way forward! Highly recommend these sessions! Kim is enthusiastic and a great motivator which leads to a fun and friendly atmosphere. I found this set up much less intimidating than a 'classic' fitness class. The exercises could be adapted to different levels of fitness and I finished the class with a smile on my face while also knowing I had achieved something. Will definitely be attending in the future! Fantastic! Kim is really attentive to levels of fitness which works really well for someone like me who is a bit out of practice! The exercises are fun and while I still felt like I had worked out I didn't feel overwhelmed. It helps to be really clear on the why. Why do you want to be fitter? Why do you want to run 10k? What will losing 10lbs mean to you? By understanding this, I can focus on making sure everything we do is taking you a step towards those goals. By tailoring to your individual needs, enabling you to take control over your diet and empowering you with structured programmes, added with the motivation and coaching I provide- this is how my clients get to their goals and maintain and improve ongoing.

Balance, between good nutrition and effective movement. Everyone dreams differently, but in most cases start with small changes and build good habits. When you have those in place you can then build on another level, without feeling overwhelmed or tempted to quit because it seems too much. A good routine also includes rest, good sleep and minimising stress.

When clients hit their goals, or surprise themselves with their own strength or talent at a particular exercise. I am a massive people person, so meeting lots of different people and sharing my passion for fitness with them, and seeing them achieve what they believed to be impossible is the biggest buzz.

I realised their were so many people like me, who were intimidated by a traditional gym environment (I love the gym now), and this was stopping them getting started. I heard my friends say, "I'd join a gym but I'm not fit enough", or " I really need to lose X lbs but I get really bored and don't know what to do". After losing a third of my bodyweight I knew I needed to help other to see there are so many different ways to work out, and it doesn't always have to be in a gym- and if it is, it can be really fun!

I am on your side, I'm not just a PT- I am a coach and your cheerleading squad to get you to achieve your results. I don't do "train and go", I look after every client as an individual and follow up in between sessions. You will have a trainer that has plenty of experience, especially with weightloss, HIIT/circuit/functional training, as well as strength and resistance training.
