What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Good photographs put you in a particular moment in time, they tell a story, or they speak to your emotions. The most important element of a great photograph is that it does all of the above.
When photographing a model, its vitally important that the photographer and model have a connection, become comfortable and trust one another. Almost like a relationship. Only then will the photos come out the way both intended.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What type of style would you like to portray through the photographs?
Have you got any examples of something you'd like to replicate or work on?
What type of environment, theme would we want to portray?
What do you love most about your job?
Im a creative by heart. I left the corporate world to do what I love, and that is creating. Whether it's through a lens, or just a piece of paper and a pencil, I just love to create. The more I take photos, the better I get and the more I love what I do.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working for a performance based car company, I began doing their social media and digital marketing and they got me a camera I could use to take photos of the beautiful cars. The more I learnt about the camera, the software and photography in general, I realised I could be more than just an employee
Why should our clients choose you?
Im new to the industry with 2 years experience, which may deter people, but my greatest goal is to impress people with what I can do, considering my experience and thus value for money. Every cent I make I put back into my business to buy new equipment to get even better results.
