What do you love most about your job?
All of it to be honest because I only create and do the work I love with clients who I enjoy working with. My fulfilment comes from helping clients to achieve their professional and/or personal goals and aspirations. I particularly enjoy helping clients set up and grow their first business or turn their interest/hobby into an income.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Initially I didn't plan it. In 2001 I left a senior level management role with Fiat Group to do interim management consultancy with Michael Page International when I needed a limited company to invoice. By 2004 I had 4 businesses including Executive Playground which I continue to use for my coaching and consultancy business. I enjoy the freedom to create a wide range of solutions and services, the entrepreneurial adventure continues and provides a flexible and creative lifestyle. Though I probably work longer hours now than I ever did in a full-time employed role it doesn’t feel like it because I love what I do.
