From our first Facetime call to our final Whatsapp chats, Annamarie was a complete delight to work with and had never-ending enthusiasm and genuine affection for our wedding and for us as a couple. Neither of us were especially looking forward to having our photos taken and so it was important to us that we had a photographer who understood the very relaxed approach to our day with as little formality as possible, which Annamarie did 100%. She made it clear from the beginning that her approach would be to snap the natural happy moments of the day, rather than focusing too much on formal shots where everyone looks awkward! The pre-wed photoshoot that we had with Annamarie was SO useful in helping us to feel more relaxed with her and with having our photo taken. The shots she took that day are some of our favourite photos of us ever! We both felt completely sure after the pre-wed shoot that Annamarie understood us and was able to capture lovely moments without us even knowing she was doing it. Annamarie was extremely organised and talking through the plan of the day with her a month or so before the wedding was invaluable in helping us to think about logistics we hadn’t even considered! Having said this, she maintained her sense of fun and relaxed approach so that we didn’t freak out Annamarie did such a great job of managing the time and our guests on the day. She was friendly and funny but wasn’t afraid to playfully boss people into action to get the job done! We had so many compliments about what a lovely presence she was throughout. The photos from our wedding really are amazing and tell such a happy story of a very happy day! Annamarie managed to get some candid photos of our friends and family that are so true to the characters of the people we love, and she really captured how silly and fun everything was (as we had planned!) The sneak peek selection of photos that Annamarie sent us on the day we headed off on our minimoon was SUCH a lovely surprise. She also made the most beautiful slideshow of photos that told the story of the day, which we have watched a hundred times! We were expecting to receive just a USB of photos in the post, but the package Annamarie sent was beautiful and yet another incredible surprise! The amount of care and attention that Annamarie puts in to her work and gives her couples is truly brilliant and we are so grateful for what a delight she has been throughout the process. Sensational!!!!!!! We met Annamarie at our friends wedding and went on to do many more . Why ! Because she is incredible at what she does , all you have to do is look at the moments she captures . This is what we fell in love with “ moments “ . It’s not always easy being in front of a camera and getting real moments but I can honestly say I forgot she was even there . So far we’ve received our preview pictures as our wedding was only at the end of September 2018 and they made me cry with happiness, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again a picture says a thousands words. FREAKIN’ AWESOME! What more can I say? This is one amazing lady who is brimming with talent. I would never consider another photographer for any occasion. We have had a family shoot, wedding photos and Annamarie also did a beautiful documentary style shoot for our daughters 1st day at school. The pictures are beautiful, imaginative, emotive works of art. It’s a pleasure to be around her while she’s working. All of our wedding guests commented that she was lovely, discreet but fitting in with her friendly, easy going manner. When we saw Annamarie's work we knew she was the photographer for us. Her composition, use of depth of field, framing and lighting is so considered. Not only does she have all of these important skills but, she also managed to capture so many moments of emotion and the entire atmosphere of our day as well as some great portraits. She helped me work out timings to ensure we got all the shots we wanted and made welcome suggestions. Even though we had an informal wedding this planning is so important as you get so caught up on the day and lose all track of time. She was so organised that she was flexible enough to move our family photos around because she felt the vibe was good during our Prosecco and canapes and didn't want to interrupt. Annamarie also came up with spontaneous ideas such as whizzing us outside once it was dark to get a shot of us in silhouette, the result was fantastic. Being able to do something that I love so much :) Hanging out with people on the most important occasions of their lives is just the best....it's being around people who are relaxed, fun, genuine and all about being in the moment that inspires me.
