We wanted to find a photographer that could capture the special moment of maternity. Our fear was that we wouldn''t be happy with the photos or feel comfortable with the photo shoot. Anna Alexander was very professional, nice and easy going. We had a great photo shoot on the beach and we loved how our photos came out. We have received so many positive comments from friends and family.We really enjoyed that the photo shoot was so relaxed and that we felt comfortable. I was nervous taking a 10-day old baby (my first) out of the house at all, let alone to someone's studio for a photo session. I was exhausted and prepared to nurse a screaming newborn the entire time and maybe get a few good pictures. But Anna made it extremely comfortable for baby and my husband and I. Cozy, warm, welcoming; calm, quiet, dim... My baby slept the entire time - and so did I! Which was so amazing because I hadn't slept that well since he was born. Anna is so gentle, a true natural with babies, and of course a truly gifted photographer because the pictures are BEAUTIFUL. Anna is an amazing photographer! She did both our maternity photos and our newborn session. She is flexible when things come up in life and you have to reschedule, with a newborn that is inevitable. She is super creative with her shots and she also incorporates what your vision is too! She is very professional and a perfectionist which is what you want for your photos. A very nice little gesture is that she always has little snacks for you in between your shots (she even had a lunch for us during the maternity shoot). I just wanted to share our mini photo session experience with Anna and our one week old daughter. We were a little hestitant about how our fussy baby would react during the session but once Anna had her in her arms she was instantly relaxed and put to sleep. I was a bit hesitant in booking Anna Alexander, thinking do I really need these newborn photos, do I really want to spend money on this when there are many other things to worry about? Now that we have the photos I can't imagine not going ahead with the session. Anna was fantastic to work with! She is kind, understanding, caring and puts you completely at ease. I love bellies and babies. This magic needs to be celebrated. I love seeing new families welcoming their new babies, pure love, raw emotions.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Inspired by love, pregnancy mystery and newborn's magic. Time goes by, memories fade. All we are left with is the legacy in stories and visuals. Family photo albums, family pictures are a true legacy cherished for a lifetime.
