What kind of accounting services do you provide?
Preparation of sole trade, partnership and small limited company accounts from source documents. I can assist with registered office and company secretarial services as well as all VAT matters including registration/de-registration and quarterly/monthly VAT Return preparation and submission.
I am also a Chartered Tax adviser and deal with all aspects of tax for individuals and companies including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, Capital Gains and Inheritance Tax. I can also deal with HMRC enquiries.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Not only does it free up a business from time-consuming paperwork, a great accountant can advise on tax breaks, give advice on profitable and less profitable areas of the business and assist with possible funding strategies.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping people to make sense of their figures and take away what they see as a burdensome task.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for many years in a medium-sized practice for many years where I gained my qualifications. I then moved to industry for a number of years. Following redundancy, I was involved with some consultancy work and made the decision then to get back into practice and do what I enjoyed most, meeting people and helping them through their business.

I am friendly and approachable and good at what I do, at a very reasonable price. I try to put people's mind at rest when they have concerns over their business and tax affairs.
