Katie did a fantastic job of looking after our two cats while we were away on holiday for a couple of weeks. It was during the time we had a heatwave and so being very fluffy cats they were moulting a lot. She went out of her way to give them a groom every day, and also to send lots of pictures of them to me. She even watered my basil plant that was in the kitchen, even though I'd not even asked her to! We've used her services a couple of times now and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a very kind and trustworthy cat sitter. More...

I cannot recommend Katie highly enough. She has looked after our animals on several occasions over the past few years and has always done an excellent job. The most recent occasion was just a few weeks ago when she lived in and cared for our dogs, guinea pigs, canaries, chickens, fish and goats. When we returned home from our holiday, the animals were in superb condition (the dogs seemed quite disappointed when she left...) and the goats were still milking well. She took particular care to ensure the goats had plenty of fresh water and were kept cool in the spell of very hot weather we had at the time. We will certainly be using her again. We arranged for Katie to visit and feed our cat Murdoc for five days when we were going away. Shortly before we went he became ill and developed kidney problems which meant he would need daily intravenous fluids and careful monitoring. We called Katie to explain the situation, and were delighted when she told us she would be happy to do this when we were away, as she had given intravenous fluids before. She visited twice a day and kept us up to date throughout, and also sent some pictures. There was one day when Murdoc went off his food and Katie kindly offered to take him to the vet and even arranged the appointment for us. Luckily Murdoc's appetite returned before the appointment time. Katie really couldn't have been more helpful, reliable, and caring, and with her positive, can-do attitude we will definitely choose her again next time we need a cat sitter. More...

Katie is a wonderful, gentle and caring carer and I fully recommend her for anyone as anxious as I am leaving their animals while your away.
She came round to meet the cats understanding my cats medical needs, one of which was recently diagnosed with megacolon and needed to be given tablets and laxatives orally each day. She is the best carer for my cats needs with her extensive history and experience with helping animals with all medical conditions and fully animal first aid trained, which really helped to put my mind at rest knowing Phoebe would be in the right hands. She messaged me while we were away giving me updates which was really good in helping reassure me they were both ok.
We came home to two very happy and contented cats so we will be using Katie for any breaks we take from now on for sure!!!

Finding Katie has been a god send. We recently rehomed a rescue from Romania, with no experience of having a dog before. Katie has built a fantastic bond with Rosie and really brought out her confidence. She has been like a different dog since Katie has been walking her, and we were even able to enjoy a holiday abroad knowing Rosie was well looked after in Katie's care. What do you love most about your job?
I love the satisfaction of knowing that every animal in our care receives the highest standards of welfare, husbandry and care. It's nice to know that not only do we provide care we also provide socialisation and mental stimulation.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We struggled to find someone that we felt comfortable leaving our dog with when we went on holiday. We want to be the people you can trust to provide the best care and welfare for all of your pets, because we care when you're not there.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have had many years of working in the animal industry and looking after our own and other people's pets. We have worked closely with a wide variety of species of animal which has enabled us to be vigilant in monitoring animals behaviour and knowing their different needs.

We offer a house and pet sitting service. We come to you and live in your house to provide the best comfort for your much loved pet. Going away and leaving your pet is stressful for both you and your animal, this is the best service for those animals who prefer their own home comforts and leaves you to go away feeling stress free knowing your pet will be happy and safe in their own environment.
As well as having the comfort of knowing your pet is in safe hands, your home will also be much more protected by having a live in pet sitter. We will leave your house for up to no more than 6 hours per day, less if arranged prior to their stay, we will pick up your post, water your plants and leave your house looking just how we found it.
This service can be adapted to suit your individual needs, we can pet sit for a half day, day, night or longer.
Prices start from £25.
Smallholding care
With years experience working on farms and farm management we can offer help with specific livestock husbandry tasks such as foot trimming, vaccinating, worming, halter training and milking as well as more general tasks such as mucking out, hay deliveries and feeding.
We also offer a sitting service, should you want a short break or holiday. We can also provide short notice, emergency cover for all those unexpected things life throws at us.
We have a wide range of knowledge of a variety of species of livestock including goats, pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens, ducks, alpaca, llama, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, aviary birds, dogs, cats and small mammals.
