I needed emergency transportation for my mastiff Ronnie 11 stone. His back legs had gone but we needed to get him to vets asap. I panicked and was very emotion but after speaking to the loveliest, gentle lady called Sheryl. She calmed me down and gave me ideas by using a few duvet covers, which surprisingly i never thought of. Maybe it was just panic or shock. Anyway, myself and 2 sons managed to lift him, after nearly an hour and a half of slow careful movements, we got Ron to the vets. Unfortunately, his back legs were cold and had no feeling, he had some sort of spinal injury. He was put to sleep almost immediately. We weren't allowed to be with him which hurt like hell but we were allowed to say a last final goodbye to him beforehand. I would like to thank Sheryl for literally helping us by giving us ideas on how to move our dog in order to get him into the vets. It may seem odd but Ron was 11 stone and not easy to move with 2 back legs not working, i never in a million years thought of the idea and that we could do it. Sheryl was so calm and gentle and if it wasn't for her, Ronnie would have died on me, which would have been the worst. She gave me the courage that we could move Ron and for that i will be eternally grateful. Thank you so much Sheryl, from the bottom of my heart. You helped us so much. More...

So I’m back I left my babies 2 jack Russell’s in the care of Cheryl and Wayne and I couldn’t have been more happy with the love and care they gave to them. They was amazing in helping me with my very poorly cat . As I couldn’t find a sitter for my son and couldn’t leave him alone at home , I was unable to take my Cat Persephone to the emergency vets , she had an appointment the following morning but she took a turn for the worst that evening . Animals at Home picked my Persephone up and was very empathetic as I was very worried and upset and panicking, they calmed me down told me when they was on route and how far away they was from me , they also called instead of ringing the door bell as it was very late and not to wake my son . They then took my cat to the vets and brought her back after her emergency treatment was given. This was all sorted very quickly and my cat returned a lot happier and in less pain . I would recommend this service 100% and for me I would use it again if an emergency should pop up . Thank you so much for all your help Cheryl and Wayne !! More...

I have just returned from a 10 day holiday and left my cocker spaniel Ernie in the hands of Cheryl for dog boarding. I couldn’t be more impressed with the service. I asked for him to be walked twice a day, which she done for me. Ernie was there with Cheryl’s cockerpoo who he got along with extremely well, safe to say they are best friends now! What do you love most about your job?
Our vocation gives us the opportunity to be with animals for a living. We take pleasure going on a dog walk, One to One walking is preferred unless there is more than one dog in the family, as not all dogs like to socialise. There is nothing more heartwarming than receiving that excited welcome when opening the door to the pet who is so happy to see you, whether a dog needing a visit/ walk, or a hungry cat waiting patiently for his tea!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We love animals. We love walking them, playing with them, looking after them. We’ve done it all our lives with our own pets, so what could be better than doing that for a living
Why should our clients choose you?
We have a lifetime of experience in animal care with our own pets. We consider it an honour to be chosen by you to take care of your pet at the times that you can’t. We would not only take care of them, but we would give them lots of cuddles and love. ? We are proud to be part of one of the largest pet care companies. We have successfully completed basic training in a running veterinary surgery. We are trained in pet nutrition. We have public liability insurance, and for your security we crb checked.
