Lori and animal magnetism is amazing! Right before going out of town, My terrier had unexpected stomach surgery and required rest, medication, strict diet with no play time and light walks. Lori came over, put me atEase and my dog happily left with her! Lori kept in touch and sent me pics while I was gone. My dog was in great shape when he came home five days later. Lori SAVED the day and I will 100% use animal magnetism for anytime my doggy needs boarding. I can't say enough about Lori and her team. They understand that our pets are our babies and treat them like they're their own! It's so obvious that they're in this business because they love it, and they're experienced and knowledgeable to boot. My husband and I have had to travel A LOT this year which means leaving our two kitties at home a lot more than we'd like to. Thank god for Lori! I tend towards worry (see aforementioned reference to my pets being my babies ), and Lori is always super communicative, answers all my questions (even when she's not watching the cats), sends photos, gives recommendations, and takes wonderful care of our kitties. I don't know what we would do without Lori/Animal Magnetism! The website and booking/payment process is super easy and convenient to use, and the value is excellent - the pack walks give my dogs an hour or more of exercise, engagement, and social time with other dogs. Moreover, the intangibles about Lori and her services are what we love.  My dogs are usually pretty reactive and one is very anxious and bigger so  people usually perceive him negatively. We were having trouble finding a good fit with dog care providers, because some people say they "love dogs" but they really mean "dogs that aren't reactive" or "dogs that never deviate from their training" or "dogs that are so docile you never have to worry about them doing anything". But Lori clearly loves ALL dogs and knows how to - and cares enough to - put in the time to get to know them and gain their trust. At our meet and greet, she put our dogs' comfort first, adjusting to their behavior and comfort level (versus people who just reach their hand out and expect dogs to instantly warm up to a stranger, and then act appalled when they become defensive or anxious). It wasn't long before our dogs came to love and trust her and Heather, and we never have any hesitation about using their services.  On several occasions, we've had to ask her to make last minute adjustments or bookings due to emergencies, and she's so responsive and helpful every time.  Most recently, we texted Lori from the hospital and she was able to take the dogs last minute for a few days. That extraordinary level of care, compassion, and service cannot be faked or bought and is truly, truly rare.  We are so happy to be part of the Animal Magnetism family! More...

100,000% recommend. My partner and I contacted Animal Magnetism on pretty short notice (less than a week) about caring for our cats for 13 consecutive days while we were out of town. Lori quickly got in touch with me, came to my place the next day, surveyed my apartment, listened to all my pet parent worries, instructions about food and supply locations in the apartment, and specific instructions about where to throw out trash litter, how to get in and out of apartment, etc, and a bunch of other info like what time we thought they should come by each day.I didn't need to contact any other services because it was just clear she and Animal Magnetism know what they're doing. After you chat with them, they use a detailed online form to create profiles for your pets/home and are responsive via text, email or phone.For 13 days, Lori or one of her colleagues checked in on our two cats once a day for about 20 or 30 mins. That included feeding wet food, refilling a giant hard food bowl, checking water levels, cleaning/disposing of litter, and texting/emailing us daily photos assuring us that both cats were alive and well. Our smoke alarm even started acting funky at one point, which Animal Magnetism notified us about and we dealt with. And to my pleasant surprise, they even leave little report cards for you to go over when you return from your trip.Reasonably priced (way cheaper than boarding at a kennel, vet, or pet hotel) and they offer other types of way more involved care than the basic services we arranged.The whole process was seamless, Animal Magnetism made us feel at ease, no complaints from us at all, will 100% use them again whenever we next leave town. I cannot say enough positive things about the Animal Magnetism Team! I have been using them, Monday through Friday, for a little over two years now. They are very trustworthy, dependable, timely, responsive and most of all caring. I never have any doubts about leaving my little guy, Oliver, with them. They truly treat him like he was their own dog. I have the Ring Doorbell/Camera and actually heard one of them tell Oliver that they loved him after dropping him off. My heart melted hearing that! Animal Magnetism is awesome! They have been our walkers/dob boarders for the last two years. If you are looking for a company that is as professional as a big corporation or app, but as friendly and attentive and accommodating as a family friend, they are the ones to go with. They definitely care about the dogs and have sound judgement and a small roster of walkers, all of which we know by name at this point. Our dog is 13 has multiple special needs (recent stroke, bad joints, fussy stomach and multiple meds. Animal Magnetism handles these issues very well. They also leave a report card for to let you know how your dog did after each walk. They have even been here for us during family emergencies, last minute requests for walks (which they do if they are able) and never miss meds. We're luck to have them. More...

When the owners away the ducks will play. I am glad I found Animal Magnetism. Having pet ducks is no easy challenge. It is a lot of work to come over and let the dogs out every day and then feed them and clean the pen at night. I do travel a lot and they have always been able to accommodate a busy traveling schedule. The prices are more than reasonable for the amount of time and work they spend with the ducks . I wish I could give them ten stars. They are that amazing!! When I first was referred to them by a friend. I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I had a 6 mos old puppy that was out of control. After just a few weeks I noticed a huge difference in my puppy. He was no longer jumping on everyone that walked through door or bitting ( more like nipping )... still a cause for concern as I have an elderly mom and young nieces and nephews. After 6 mos of using their service my puppy is awesome. He is super sweet and calm. He absolutely loves when the girls come to pick him up.They have done an amazing job with him and have given me tools on how to work out various situations. Can’t say enough about Animal Magnitism.
