Angels does so much more than adoptions. They have full service veterinary care at drastically reduced costs. They also take Care Credit. With Angels of Assisi around there is no reason why your pet can't have great medical care. I've had several animals neutered through Angels of Assisi and have used them for vet care as well. They do a wonderful job and all the workers, from the front desk to the vets, exhibit caring and compassion for the pets and their owners all the time. As someone else said, the facility needs upgrading, but an upgraded facility with a less-caring staff would not be a good trade, for sure! The only drawback to using them for sick-pet vet care is that it's difficult-to-impossible to contact them when you need care fairly quickly, which again is probably an issue of their not having sufficient money to hire more front-desk staff. Very caring people. Waiting area simple and clean. No "smells". I was there when an owner was in need of end of life care for their four legged family member. The staff did not rush, offered a quite place, allowed them to go for a walk, a box of tissues, hugs, "just a few more minutes". If this is the care that is given during such a difficult time. If don't make or have much money compared to a vet in private business the cost is low most vaccines $15 visit $20. Very friendly and helpful
