Angelo David Salon

My experience at Angelo David Salon was life-changing.My hair was in bad shape- really bad shape. From years of bleaching, straightening, and plus some health issues, my already fine hair was becoming more fragile and thin and not growing in as fast anymore. I searched for salons that specialized in thinning hair to help me. Based on reviews, there was no question that Angelo David Salon was the place to go, but I doubted they could do anything for me as my hair was so thin and not getting any better. I reached out and explained my situation, that this was a last resort before I shaved it all off to start over. I had a consultation with Carlos, who was very reassuring. He laid out a couple options based on the current state of my hair. He had a plan to get my hair healthy again, and in the meantime, suggested using couture filler extensions and some coloring tricks to help me face the world every day. Angelo and his team then totally transformed me. Rita's coloring job was nothing short of a miracle. She made sure to use products that were not going to further damage my hair, and to add in repair treatments. Angelo and Rita were able to color match couture filler extensions that match the natural color AND the texture of my own hair. I can't believe how perfectly matched and natural the fillers are. The filler application done by Angelo was quick and easy, and they used fillers that were lightweight so as not to weigh down and break my fragile hair. The end product was a literal transformation. I felt like a different person. My hair looks fantastic and you cannot distinguish between the couture filler extensions and natural hair, resulting in a beautiful, healthy hair that I have not had in many years.  The state of my hair was a huge source of insecurity and shame, and Angelo David Salon quite literally changed my life. Angelo David is the best of the best for all things hair! From the front desk staff to stylist and Angelo himself, the experience is simply divine. They are true professionals at what they do. I have been going to them for a year now and have never gotten so many compliments on my hair. I also use all of their products (the Vol shampoo and the flex brush are two of my faves!). Angelo David works magic with hair. He is a perfectionist that makes anyone look like she/he is going to walk the "red carpet"! Yet he is honest, personable, intelligent without the airs of the typical hairdresser to the stars. His eyes are razor sharp and when he is working on you it's like nobody else exists at that moment but you! His staff is professional, attentive and highly organized. My experience with Angelo David Salon goes back over 7 years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since! Quality service and everything you’re looking for in a salon is top notch! Their hair extensions are the absolute best extensions you’ll find out there. Angelo is a perfectionist and will pay close attention and detail to exactly what you want. The Angelo David Salon is simply the best. I’ve had nothing but great experiences and great results in the 10 years I have been going there. And on top of that I have been using their Hair Detox for about six months now and it is an incredibly effective product that has really helped me with my thinning hair. My experience at David Angelo Salon was amazing.Based on reviews, I reached out and explained that my hair was over processed and broken off, particularly the hair framing my face. My hair has always been fine and now was fragile as well. I was frustrated and skeptical that anything could be done outside of getting a short haircut and starting over.My first point of contact in the salon was Carlos who was caring, and explained several options based on the current state of my hair. It was suggested that couture filler extensions would be my best option combined with quality hair care products to heal the damage. I agreed and shortly met my hair care team. Casie began by color correcting hair, which was also in bad shape. The result was a natural, vibrant blonde that complemented my skin tone. Simultaneously, Angelo was at work creating perfectly color matched couture filler extensions for my hair. My next step was working with Joanna, whose application of the couture fillers was both artful and precise. The day was finished off with an expert cut by Angelo that seamlessly blended the couture fillers and my natural hair. The finished product was really unbelievable. My hair looked fantastic and you could not distinguish between the couture filler extensions and natural hair, resulting in a beautiful, healthy look. I had my hair done for my wedding Carlos in Rita was amazing they did such and awesome job my wedding photo came out beautiful in I couldn't ask for anything better I had Google in then I found David Angelo salon the best in New York City I would highly recommend them not only their awesome but they made me in my husband feel so welcome we even had lunch at the salon it was like we were family couldn't ask for anything better . I love this salon. I have been here twice now and Ivy gave me the best cuts and blowouts of my life. They do a lot of great charity work for cancer research and have great treatments for those with thinning hair. I cannot recommend this salon enough. I decided to get extensions and I was very nervous.  I had a consultation with Carlos and he made me feel comfortable with my decision.  Mark did my extensions and what an amazing person. He is super nice, patient and so gentle. My extensions look like my hair. My friends and coworkers didn't realize I got extensions, they thought my hair had grown out so fast. I have been going to Angelo’s salon now for almost 10 years and it has never once disappointed. Angelo has been the one cutting my hair and no matter what I ask him to do - he makes it looks absolutely stunning! !! He pays attention to every detail until it looks perfect. I cannot say enough about how absolutely amazing he is... and my colorist Rita has done such a fantastic job always getting my color just right. I switch my color pretty often between red and blonde and each time it looks perfect for my skin tone and what I wanted. I always get soooo many compliments after a trip to this salon.. What an incredible experience! I walked into the salon on December 23, 2017 and begged them to help me, I did not have an appointment. Carlos and Angelo were wonderful to me and I ordered some hair that day. My hair became very thin several years ago when I went on a starvation diet to lose some weight. I couldn’t get it back no matter how I tried.

The process was incredible!!!! So advanced and very natural. I will be flying to NY every 5 weeks for as long as I can. I have my groove back and feel like myself again. This is life changing. The combination of my hair and the additions are not even visible. Nothing has changed. I wash my hair the same, etc.

Angelo and his staff are masters and I can not thank them enough. No need to feel old. So easy to get your youth back. More...
