My son joined Angela’s Swim School in September with very little experience of learning to swim. He was a little apprehensive at first and did not like the thought of being in the water. Very quickly he began to enjoy the lessons, ducking his head beneath the water and learning great techniques. The change in him is nothing short of amazing and I could not thank Angela’s and the instructor enough. The badge and certificate from Swim Stylers is a lovely touch and great motivation. More...

My son has learnt to swim within 16weeks (half hour lessons). So pleased with his progress! The only reason I haven't given them a 5 star is due to poor communication this term to inform us of important info over lessons! Have signed up for this term and hopefully things will be back to normal! Xx More...

My daughter has just finished a 10 week swimming course with Angela's Swim School at the Treetops Retreat venue. Jasmine was her teacher for the first 2 weeks and was very good.
The teaching by Peter over the last 8 weeks has been fantastic. He has helped to develop her confidence in and around the water. He is patient and very encouraging. Thank you for such a positive experience and start to swimming lesson.
Abigail says "One day he let me play longer in the pool. Thank you".

My boy age 5 despite having had lessons for over a year was still scared of the water and dreaded swimming day. We booked him and his sister into the Basildon crash course, after the first lesson he loved it! gone was his fear of water! By the end of the week he was swimming! and smiling! Thank you Eva! Likewise his sister went from doggy paddle and struggling to coordinate any other stroke to confidently using front crawl breast and back stroke! My 4 yr old son has lessons with Jessie. Today he was lucky enough to have a one on one lesson. All I can say is WOW.
His armbands came of and he was having so much fun swimming without them.
Jessie even managed to get him to jump in the deep end and do star floats without any help.
He came out with the biggest smile on his face.
Thank you Jessie, he can't wait till next week x x

My two girls (aged 5 and 3) have lessons with Ted and Becky in Upnor and after just two terms of swimming we've just enjoyed a lovely holiday in Greece where they spent lots of time in the pools. ���. You can't put a price on how much value that adds to our lives and they are really lovely people with it. Highly recommend them and the pool facilities at Arethusa - tiny and a bit tired - but perfect size if you have little ones who are overwhelmed by confident swimmers and the noise etc. More...

I put all four of my children in for swimming lessons. My two eldest daughters were water confident and was just to build stamina, so they only did a couple of terms. My youngest daughter has come on leaps and bounds in just over a year in her group with Ted who really encourages them to go for it. And my youngest son is autistic wouldn't even get in water a year ago,I never thought anyone would get him in the water let alone swimming. Well...he can now swim!! Including the breast stroke stroke and the butterfly!! Will jump into the pool, submerse his head...he is truly a different child in the water!! Laurel and Hannah are truly amazing and very patient with him. As a family we owe you so much. Put my son (3 years old) in for the May holiday crash course at Hilltop Primary School and he loved it. Although he was already happy to be in water he practiced back stroke, having his face in the water (blowing bubbles) and no armbands on the 2nd half of the week, which he has never experienced before. The teacher (Peter) was brilliant, he was patient and took his time with each pupil and he also had some fun with them too. He also gave us feedback at the end of each lesson. My son and daughter had an excellent week at hilltops easter crash course. After starting with February's crash course and continuing during term time they were looking forward to seeing Ted again but ended up with James teaching them and after the first session Ted was forgotten!

absolutely loved being taught by James!!! He has really brought them on over the week.
He was encouraging and motivating and even when my daughter got a little scared and upset over diving under water for rings he soon put her back at ease. My son has adhd and struggles with concentration and also struggles with putting his face in the water as he has sensory issues but again James has managed to get him dipping his face in.
I hope they continue to progress in the next term but just want to let you know how amazing James has been!
He is a credit to the school!!

At the beginning of this term, our 3 year old was so frightened to get into the pool without me that she screamed and cried and begged to get out, so she spent the whole time on the side of the pool for the first two sessions. I am so grateful to the team at Angela's Swim School - they have been absolutely brilliant! We moved to a quieter session on a different day, eased her back in with a couple of parent sessions and now she's so happy to get into the pool without me, and she's swimming and doing so brilliantly with her little group of friends. She's so happy and confident that now we have to fight to get her out of the pool! I'm so relieved and grateful! More...

Both my children have just completed the summer school and also do term time, summer school has especially helped my daughter who swims with Jessie I can't thank her enough for pushing her from the girl who started afraid to get her face wet or being in water, so swimming on her own front and back I'm so pleased I did summer school as she was just coming out of arm bands and they has pushed her on! My 7 year old twins loved the lessons they had at the crash course. I am surprised how much u can learn in 3 days . Have to point out that one of the girls has autism but that didn't make any difference cause Sarah her instructor is sooo patient and Isabella already trust her. It was good to see both girls so happy, they smile the whole time they were in the water, me and my husband smiled even more.. I have contacted other swimming schools but as soon as I told them about Isabella they would say they would call me back and never did, I am so glad they didn't cause the girls are where they were supposed to be. It's early days but I already love the atmosphere around the teachers and Sarah's family. Now I just have to gain some courage and book some lessons for myself More...
