I went to Andrew because I was suffering from severe pain in the shoulder and arm which was having a debilitating effect on my whole life. I had no grip in my fingers, no strength in my hand and wrist, no mobility in the arm. Driving a car was a nightmare because it was painful to change gear or use the handbrake. Playing golf was out of the question. The NHS sadly had offered next to nothing and I was very fed up. Bit by bit Andrew restored everything. He quickly diagnosed the problem and knew what to do about it. In doing so he was positive, cheerful and made the sessions enjoyable. The results have been awesome. I'm back doing everything - while still waiting for a date to start a physio course on the NHS five months after first consulting my GP. I'm 67 years old so I guess I'm not in the usual age profile of Andrew's clientele but that didn't bother him in the slightest. I am so grateful to him and can't recommend him highly enough.

I gave Andrew what I thought was an impossible task in improving my shape and build in the upper body despite having never been anything other than little more than skin and bones in that area.
However after a few sessions, twice weekly, I began to feel an improvement due to invaluable advice on diet, exercise, overcoming niggles and most importantly employing the correct techniques in weight training exercises.
The training was carried out in an informal manner but with the right amount of forceful encouragement and support to push you to your personal limits. It was painful and uncomfortable a lot of the time and that is to be expected if you want to see meaningful results. However Andrew was always mindful of not giving me unrealistic challenges and was extremely patient whenever I needed some additional recovery time from a set of exercises.
After 30 sessions the difference in my physique is very obvious which has given me a fantastically improved look not to mention a great inner confidence that wasn't previously there.
I am extremely grateful and impressed with Andrew's comprehensive knowledge in terms of what is good for the human body and that will be invaluable as I continue with my own regime.
I would whole-heartedly recommend him to anybody wishing to improve themselves on many different levels.

If your looking for a personal trainer then Andrews your man. ,he's the ultimate professional. I wanted results and got them.I found the training superb , never the same and more importantly Andrews enthusiasm and motivation helped me push my body beyond levels I thought possible.Im 38 and wasn't a regular gym user, and I now look and feel fitter than I've ever been .

My sessions with Andrew started in March this year. Since then I have lost weight, feel fitter and healthier. None of that would have happened without his expertise.
Andrew utilises his vast knowledge of anatomy and his experience in fitness to plan targeted sessions that are varied, challenging and fun. His advice on healthy eating is sensible and practical.
He wants you to achieve your goals and he seems to believe in you, in my case far more than I do myself. His confidence, encouragement and unfailing good humour inspire trust that helps me achieve more than I dreamed possible.
Body work is still ongoing but I'm happy with my progress and look forward to continuing to work with Andrew, he makes the hard work bearable.
He is a lovely bloke and first class PT, who works in a well equipped gym.

Andrew is a fantastic Personal Trainer. I didn't think that personal training was for me, but after years of trying to achieve the results I wanted alone in the gym, I thought I would give it a go.

I have trained with Andrew for two years now and find it as interesting and enjoyable today as it was at the start.

As a type 1 diabetic, my goals have been to bulk up and use resistance training to get a better control of my blood sugar.

Whilst he has been training me, I have gained just under 10 kgs of muscle mass and seen my HbA1c (average glucose levels) fall to almost non-diabetic levels.

I would say the best aspect of Andrew's training is that because of his knowledge of exercise and understanding of the human body, he's great at knowing when to push you and how hard.

I couldn't be more grateful for all his help and I would happily recommend Andrew to anyone.

I have been training with Andrew for just over a month now and I couldn't be happier. I have always been struggling to increase my muscle mass and reduce my body fat, even though I trained regularly. In each session Andrew has pushed me to my max and also has helped me to gain confidence in difficult techniques. Which I was once was hurting myself when performing and wouldn't of performed without the high level of knowledge that Andrew posses. The level of expertise is phenomenal in each session and with great nutritional advice has made massive strides towards my goal. I have been training with Andrew for just over a month now and I couldn't be happier. I have always been struggling to increase my muscle mass and reduce my body fat, even though I trained regularly. In each session Andrew has motivated me and he puts 100% effort in each session, which has helped me push myself even further. The level of expertise is phenomenal in each session and with great nutritional advice I have seen massive changes in muscle mass. This has resulted in an improvement in my body shape but also in my sport performance too. Without his help I would still be struggling to make any changes to my body shape and I would highly recommend anyone to him!

I have been training with Andrew for just over 4 months now. I have noticed a definite improvement in general fitness and muscle definition. Andrew is very knowledgeable about exercises to isolate and load specific muscles to make them grow as also compound exercises to burn fat. With me he has been flexible with scheduling the sessions and has always given positive encouragement to push the limits. Andrew gives valuable advice on diet and no two sessions are the same which I think has always kept me focussed and motivated. After having spent thousands on yearly Gym contracts over the years and giving up after a few days, this is the first time I have persevered for this long and thanks to Andrew, seen very good results. For anybody looking to train for fitness, weight loss or shape up, I would highly recommend Andrew.

I have been training with Andrew for just over 18 months. Initially intending to see him to help with weight loss as I had a back injury, high blood pressure and very raised cholesterol. My spinal specialist and GP both advised that it was essential that I lose a lot of weight to tackle the problems. On my initial assessment visit to Andrew he also suggested that my fitness levels were very poor and so I agreed to a plan to get fit and lose weight. As of today I have lost 8 stone and on recent follow up consultations with the spinal specialist and GP they were astounded at the total changes. Actual comments from them include "I have never seen such a massive weight reduction of any patient in so short a period" and "Blood pressure/ resting pulse rate are now that of an athlete; cholesterol level is super normal". I have literally totally transformed in well under two years. Without Andrew's expert and highly attentive guidance I could not have even come close to where I am today. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I was over 103kg when I started with Andrew, but not only have I lost weight as I am now 92kg, but I feel healthier than I have felt for years. Andrew took into account that I had a knee replacement, a spinal fusion and a prolapsed disc in my neck and brought me through without any bother and increased my fitness and also my stamina. In addition I now walk straighter and my posture is excellent and I can now perform all activities in the gym without any problem. Thanks Andrew, you're a star!Stephen Cullen.

Andrew has been a fantastic Personal Trainer. I came to him with the goal of getting fit and looking better than I ever had done before. I found that he listened to what I wanted and tailored our sessions exactly towards that. I always felt in safe professional hands as he really does know his stuff. I can't recommend him enough. I have had 3 Personal Trainers prior to working with Andrew and his knowledge, commitment and motivation are second to none. I have achieved my goals that I set out to achieve but can't give the sessions up. He is fantastic. If you are looking for a professional Personal Trainer then this is the man for you!

I trained with Andrew over the summer of last year as I was having trouble gaining muscle mass and wanted to correct some postural issues I had. Andrew gave me a full in depth consultation and created me a workout plan to gain muscle whilst also fixing my posture. The motivation he provides is second to none and he puts 100% effort into every session! I managed to increase my strength considerably on every lift with perfect form. Andrew introduced me to regular exercise probably after a gap of about 20 years? Without doubt it was the best thing I have ever done for myself? I am more energetic than I have ever been before and generally I feel much healthier. He has set me on a path, which I am determined to continue. A year on I am a different person. Of course I have lost weight and centimetres, which is good. But for me the overall feeling of wellbeing is the most valuable achievement and it has improved my life immeasurably. Thank You Andrew.

This is the first time I am training with a professional trainer. The aim was to lose weight and gain lean muscle. Being over 40 years of age, I was sceptical but gave it a go anyway. I am so glad I did and thanks to Andrew within 11 weeks of training with him I have lost fat, gained stamina and muscle definition beyond my expectations. He is professional, very friendly, works around the appointments given my busy job, very accommodating to my requests for focus on certain muscle groups while emphasising the need to work on legs, back and cardio which I have previously avoided. Being an experienced weightlifter himself he has an impressive knowledge of how to isolate and load specific muscle groups to make them grow in the shortest possible time. He gives positive encouragement to make you push your limits. He has tailor-made various diet plans to feed muscle growth and a 'cutting' diet to enhance muscle definition. Even for same muscle groups every session is different which keeps them interesting and fun. His passion for what he does and his knowledge is very obvious. I have previously tried dieting and exercising for months but the compliments I am getting from my colleagues and friends now is testament to Andrew's work. I would strongly recommend Andrew to anyone looking for fitness, whatever your goal may be. Thank you.

I've been training with Andrew for coming up to 2 months now and I am so pleased with the results I have already achieved in such a small space of time. My goal was to drop body fat and put on lean muscle mass and I am already to start to see results. Andrew motivates me to push myself every rep and is concentrated on ensuring that I am always keeping form to avoid any injuries and benefit me. I have found Andrew very easy to talk to and friendly but isn't shy to push me when it's go time. I've also found that Andrew has made working out fun and changes the exercises to stop it getting repetitive and seeing the weights go up every week is something I look forward to. I would definitely recommend Andrew to anyone looking for a personal trainer.

Andrew is the best Personal Trainer I have ever had. He really knows his stuff and gets results, not by boring repetitive exercises, instead he always listens to what you want to achieve then carefully tailoring the workout to meet your goals. He is extremely professional and very knowledgeable. No two workouts are the same. Andrew makes exercise fun and balances out the training to benefit the whole body. I am now a happy size 8 and fitter than ever, which for a woman who is nearly 60, can only be down to Andrew. If you have any doubts just give him a try. I promise that you won't look back. Liz.
