Andrea did our engagement and wedding photos and I couldn't be more impressed with her work...the pictures are simply exceptional. Andrea took photos for our wedding in August, 2014. She did such an amazing job and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Andrea did our maternity and newborn photo shoot and she did an amazing job. She truly captured our personalities with the gorgeous photos but most importantly, two very special times in our lives. Andrea respected our wishes for what poses we wanted to do but also pushed us to try new things...resulting in some great photos. Finally, you want a photographer you enjoy spending time with, and we thought Andrea was great to spend an afternoon with driving around DC trying to beat the sun set. Andrea was both punctual AND friendly! I didn't realize before how quickly your own wedding goes by so it meant a lot to us that pictures went by super fast. We could not be happier with our choice of Andrea as our wedding photographer. The pictures are beautiful, but just as importantly, she was a pleasure to work with. She listened to what we wanted and at the same time put her own stamp on everything. Also, because of certain restrictions we had (e.g., we didn't want to see each other before the wedding), she had a limited time to take portraits and family photos. This was all on us, but she pulled it off with professionalism and aplomb, and got so many great photos out of it.

I should also say that her website and the process of finding, downloading, and/or buying individual photos is extremely simple in the best possible way. Just a link and a password and a site with a clean design.

We will hire Andrea again in the future for any of our photography needs.

I was so thrilled that I found Andrea. From our first meeting, I immediately liked her. She was professional, chill, and easy to be around. Our wedding was unique in that we got married during an eclipse and she went out of her way to address the day's opportunities and challenges. She researched eclipse photography, rented appropriate lenses and given the expected traffic of the day, she arranged for nearby lodging (this was after all hotels were booked up.. so this was no easy task.) We used Andrea for our family photos, and could not have asked for a better experience! We hadn't had a proper photo session since my youngest was born, and my youngest is three-years-old. Andrea suggested a beautiful location, and was extremely patient with our disinterested toddler. She suggested some natural-looking poses that really fit my family's energy. We had a great time, and the photos were beyond gorgeous. Andrea really has a fantastic eye! I have never had such beautiful photos taken before, and we still receive compliments on how great our photos look!Andrea was kind and easy-going, and I appreciated her patience with my kids. When initially planning our wedding, I think searching for a photographer was the hardest part. Where do you start? So many amazing portfolios and websites, but you can’t really get a feel for the most important part – how are they going to make you feel on your wedding day? Do they know what you’re really looking for in the photos, and will they deliver? Andrea knocked those unknowns out of the park! We ended up shooting engagement photos with her, which I would highly recommend. We weren’t planning on it, but are so glad we did. We got to know her better, she got to know us more, and the photos were amazing! Because our engagement shots were so great and we had so much fun shooting them, between the engagement session and the wedding, we felt completely at ease knowing the wedding photos would also be great. And even then, they exceeded our expectations immensely! We’ve had people tell us that you can actually feel what the wedding day was like looking through our pictures, and I can’t agree more. Andrea was incredible. We loved her dedication to our engagement photo shoot (driving over an hour out of town and shooting in on/off rain! ) and the photos from that were just the beginning. My wife and I were very pleased with the results we got having Andrea as our wedding photographer. From my initial email requesting information to our final pictures she communicated in a timely and professional manner. Our wedding day didn't go exactly as planned (bride with food poisoning), but she handled it very well making sure to get classic shots and all the family combinations as fast as possible! Since the day ended early, she made it up to us with a family shoot that also turned out great. Pictures are fantastic and of high quality (family and friends are very impressed) and the price was reasonable for the services provided. Andrea did a family shoot for my son and me in May 2016. She was flexible, fun and professional. The photos were so beautiful and I will treasure them for life. She did an amazing job of capturing my son's spirit, which is hard to do with a 7 month old!
