Andrea is one of the most awesome people to have around on wedding day! Once I saw the stunning examples of her skills on her site, I knew that she was going to me the makeup artist for my big day. There was no second choice for me. She was so thoughtful and professional, and left me looking gorgeous and relaxed. I chose the all-day Queen for a Day package and let me tell you... I FELT like a Royal Queen with all of the attentiveness she provided. Like having a lady's maid-in-waiting like one of those romance novels (yes, I'm guilty ;) )I will recommend Andrea to everyone! From the preview trial to the day of the wedding, Andrea was fantastic. She was professional, efficient, and most importantly, made me and all my bridesmaids look flawless and beautiful. I don't typically wear much makeup, and when she was finished applying my makeup on my wedding day, I did not look like I had just walked out of a Sephora (my fear!). I still looked like myself - just better! I was nervous about the foundation looking or feeling heavy, but my skin felt no different. I highly recommend a preview session. I thought I wanted airbrush and upon doing a side by side to see and feel the difference, I much preferred the traditional foundation; it felt like a spa day. I didn't need changeover service from the ceremony to the reception (Indian wedding) and I kid you not, my makeup was still on in the evening and I had my makeup done at 7 am; through happy tears and lots of dancing! I recommend Andrea to anyone wanting to get their makeup done and feel like a queen for the day! If you are getting married, Andrea is someone you definitely want in your corner. She keeps you calm, collected and relatively stress free. She planned out my day and even gave me a schedule that I could give my bridal party. This was very important because we were under time constraints to get ready (after a last minute change by the venue which threw almost everyone else off). She was able to keep everyone on schedule and because she "took the reigns" so to speak, I didn't have to deal with any drama from the girls or any tantrums. Andrea was an absolute trooper and it didn't even seem to phase her with the last minute changes. That showed me that she is a true professional and she handled this all in stride; and to be funny, upbeat and relaxed at that time in the morning? I need to know her secret (she says it's coffee, but it may be some magical coffee to get me like that at 5 AM). I must admit: I was one of those that just thought that getting my makeup done would be just like a simple makeover. WRONG! It is so much more than that when done by a professional who's been doing this as long as Andrea. If price is a concern, let me just tell you that I was on a budget (who isn't, right?), but by looking at her site and communicating with her I knew that was who I wanted to do my makeup. I am so glad I did and worked my budget around to make sure I got the best. I figured our guests would remember more that we were happy and looked great, than if there were only a few less flowers decorating the hall (considering I also had a great florist, none were the wiser). She helped me also get my money's worth as well for my photographer because we all looked absolutely fabulous and I can't wait to get the final pics.
