To all brides and grooms to be- Trust me when I say you cannot go wrong with selecting LaCour Images for your wedding day! They exceeded our expectations in every single way and I can't express how wonderful they are! Read below for more details--Andre and his photography staff played in integral part in making our wedding an amazing experience for us. We had decided on Andre as our photographer almost a full year in advance of our wedding. He and his wife were receptive to our varied requests and alterations to his typical packages, and helpful in making suggestions that we would not have considered ourselves. They were patient and helpful in determining the time and location of our engagement pictures, which turned out phenomenal. Communication for the wedding itself picked up a lot within 6 weeks of the day. Andre was willing to accommodate our specific preferences for location of pictures before and after our ceremony. Not only was he able to deal with our large families and bridal party, no easy task, but he and his staff were exceptional in making everyone feel included and happy, which allowed us to get every picture that we wanted in a small window. His calm demeanor was a big help to us during our hectic schedule, which we appreciated more than anything else. He was everywhere without being imposing, he was clear about recommending picture opportunities but respectful of our opinions at the time. After the wedding, he was great about getting back to us about our photo album and the availability of our pictures. Overall, choosing Andre and LaCour images was one of the best decisions we made for our entire wedding! Andre did an amazing job capturing our special day. He first came to our house on Friday afternoon for our private ceremony. He prepared in advance to make sure he got pictures of all our friends and family and was great at capturing the event without being intrusive in any way. Andre was great to work with both on the wedding day, as well as the planning leading up to the day. Andre had a clear vision of how to organize the flow and scheduling of photos. Andre and his team were so much fun to work with! He is truly an artist! I was a very laid back bride, but I knew I wanted 2 photographers at our wedding. Andre knew our venue, and knew the outdoor area near by that we took our photos at, and I trusted his skill and how he wanted to capture our special day! Andre was the hero of our wedding- our original photographer had a family emergency and could not be at our wedding. Andre received my call at 12 PM the day before the wedding. From our initial meeting with Andre, we knew he was our guy. After seeing examples of his work and hearing about his process, we instantly felt confident in his capabilities. He answered questions we hadn't even thought of and guided us through what we should expect from our wedding photographer. All of this was totally solidified when we met with him for our engagement shoot. His passion and professionalism comes through in both our engagement and wedding day photos- plus, you can literally feel it when you're working with him. For example, our church had a specific time limit for pictures in the church. Capturing pictures with our entire family was a worry of ours. Andre told us he would handle it. The day of our wedding, he ran a set list he created himself (needed no help from us with this either) and seamlessly nailed all of our family pictures within the given time limit - which turned out to be 20 minutes. After our reception, we couldn't help but notice how invisible Andre made himself - while still capturing every moment. Throughout the entire day, we felt confident and totally comfortable with him and his assistants. One example was how he helped me resolve changing my mind on a backdrop. My husband and I decided we didn’t want to pay for a backdrop and thought the venue was fine without one. When I saw the venue again about 2 days before the wedding, I realized it was not fine and I wanted a backdrop. I called Andre and he didn’t provide backdrops but asked who I was using as my DJ and said they do backdrops, and advised me to call them and ask. It is not fair that Yelp only let's you give 5 stars. Andre deserves so many more. From our initial meeting with Andre to our wedding day and even for the months following we knew we made the best choice. Looking through Andre's website we knew we found our wedding photographer, and meeting him confirmed it. He was so easy to talk to, work with, and down to earth. Just the type of energy we wanted around the day of our wedding. His works speaks for itself. He made taking our wedding photos fun, comfortable, and enjoyable (even our outside shots in freezing Chicago). Our guests absolutely loved him. He captured every little moment absolutely beautifully. He called me a couple days before the wedding to run through how things were going to work and the schedule of the day. He had everything under control and it looked effortless. The shots he captured we will treasure forever. Our only regret is we didn't have him at our rehearsal dinner and looking back now, I would have LOVED to! The best decision we made was hiring Andre and his team for our engagement and wedding pictures. Andre's work is phenomenal. Our engagement pictures were truly amazing and unique and EVERYONE has been asking us who our photographer was. We were married last weekend and Andre along with Maria and his team were so professional, kind, and made sure to get great shots. Everywhere we turned there was a camera, I doubt they missed anything! Andre even ran through a park setting up and packing up at different spots to make sure we got our outdoor photos quickly. Andre was amazing to work with! He was very responsive and gave a lot of great advice on how to make sure everything for our photos and other aspects of our wedding day went smoothly. My husband and I don't have a lot of experience with having professional photos taken of ourselves. Andre made us feel very comfortable and helped us come up with a lot of cute poses. It even started drizzling during our outdoor photoshoot and he was willing to keep going so that we could get all the photos we wanted. There are two parts of the photography session and Andre nailed both of them!! First, taking the pictures. He made me feel like a supermodel and I actually had fun getting pictures taken. I recently had the pleasure of using Andre for a very special event (my 10th anniversary party). He just made me feel so good and treated me so well, I could not wipe the smile from my face (which showed in the pictures). Second, the pictures...oh my goodness...the pictures. They were absolutely beautiful. I looked great (difficult considering I was actually pretty sick!) and the pictures he took of my event were spectacular. If we could rate him a 10, we would. Our biggest problem was we had too many amazing photos to choose from! It was not just the photos. His rapport with guests, comfort, follow through, his team, all of it was 10 out of 10. No brainer, make one phone call, and hire him. Worth every penny.
