I have been working in tax and accounting from 2001. But the decision to open my own accounting office came one night while shackled to my desk at a small accounting firm during a busy tax season. The firm was slow to embrace cloud accounting and other innovative technologies (which I considered the future of the industry). Opening my own office was the only way to have more control over my life, and have a business that is constantly innovating; better positioned to serve my clients.
