As both a wedding vendor and the mother of three girls, I've experienced a lot of wedding cake. I've worked with Scott for 9 years and his cakes are always in a class of their own. Some vendors make cakes that look great, some vendors make cakes that taste heavenly. Scott's cakes are both. A lot of brides like fondant frosting because of how smooth it looks. Scott's cakes are never frosted with fondant. He uses real buttercream frosting so they taste devine. Go ahead, compare his edges to other cakes. I live out of state and had to make arrangements via email for my aunt's 50th birthday cake. Scott was very professional and responsive to my emails and sent along a picture of the beautiful cake after it was made. Payment was easy through Paypal and his work was very reasonably priced. I heard back from the guest of honor on just how AMAZED everyone was with the cake asking about who made it. It was a huge success. This cake was the most amazing cake I have ever seen/eaten, and I am so grateful it was my wedding cake! The outside was icing, but smoothed so perfectly, it shocked my guests when they found out it wasn't fondant. Had them make cupcake as for the bridal shower, fishing sceen for grooms cake and of course my wedding cake! !

Each of items were fantstic had all my guest raving about it...

They were great about giving me exactly what I wanted.....they made 300 cupcakes for my bridal shower in shapes of an engagment ring!!!!

My now husband loved his grooms cake ( he is a big fan of fishing)....they made the purfect fishing sceen....very cute but none tacky

We absolutely loved our cake! I knew our cake would be fabulous from looking at Scott's website but our expectations were blown out of the water when we saw it for the first time! Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was the most moist and delicious cake I have ever purchased or been served. My personal favorite was the apricot cake, my guests especially loved the chocolate raspberry layer. Not one piece of this was left by the end of the evening. We had a cake as the centerpiece on every table, 5 different flavors. Our guests are still raving about how delicious the cakes were (almost nothing left! ) and how absolutely beautiful they looked. Scott was very responsive and very creative. Each table had a card describing the cake flavor and also the flavor of the cakes on the other tables along with cutting instructions. Well, let me just tell you the cupcakes you made for my Daughters graduation were a big hit. Everything from the colors to the beautiful display was just perfect. My family has purchased many specialty cakes and desserts over a three year period from owner Scott Devol. The wedding cakes and cheesecakes that he prepared for my children were unique, meticulously designed, and tasted absolutely delicious. Scott was the only person locally who was able to make the specialty icing that my daughter planned for her wedding cake which looked like a stack of gifts with a bow on top. Icings and fillings complement his cakes so that there is a well balanced blend of flavors and textures. He creates unusual toppings and letters for birthday cakes. Scott is very talented, prompt, and willing to entertain new ideas and customer's requests. Recently he prepared, stabilized, and packaged a three tier oreo cookie birthday cake which we easily transported safely by car for over 60 miles to it's destination ... and not one crumb was left after the party!
