Q&As

How much new business it generates every day, week, and month.

How well the users/visitors interact with it.

Whether or not your spouse likes it. That's a joke! (Mostly.)

#1 What do you sell/promote/trade/make/import/do as your business?

How long have you owned your business?

How long have you had your business information on the web?

Do you own a domain name?

First thing we do is sort out a website logo. If you have a business logo we will evaluate it for website use. If it needs to be re-created for the web, (normally our new clients only have logo files for printing, not web publishing) we'll consult with you on that and go from there.

Your sign-up and agreement to our terms of service (TOS) on our website with a business or personal credit card or debit card for your agreed upon deposit payment, monthly auto billing payments and/or subscriptions (if any) and any other invoices, fees, or charges we mutually agree to for the duration of your project (if any). You will see "Truly.Digital" on your card statements or invoices from me.

Your business legal particulars.

The web addresses (if any) of any and all of your current business web pages (MyBusiness.com), business social media web pages (Twitter, FaceBook, etc.), and business review web pages (Yelp, Angies List, etc.) that you know of.

Helping business owners and managers NOT waste precious marketing dollars on the world wide web! It's easy to do, we know.

I've freelanced as a kayak tour guide, dive guide, and private bartender, owned a Restaurant, a mobile auto/boat detailing business and managed a couple of different multi million dollar Hospitality businesses (for some big corporations) in the last thirty years. I knew the web was going to be important to businesses when sales people started showing up selling ad spaces on websites back at the turn of the century. The digital world is now so diverse and involved, a small business owner can (and likely will) spend much effort, time, and dollars for little to no measurable business results. Don't be THAT business owner!

I give honest answers to questions about how the web really works for local and independent business owners. Sometimes this offends some people. If you like your business web consultant and digital marketing expert to "tell you what you want to hear," you probably don't want to hire me and the team over here for your project.

Services

Each project is unique depending on the type of business you own. If you are selling products online and collecting payments online, you need much more development time than, say, a local plumber who just needs phone calls to make sales.

I'll quote you a price that matches your operation's goals online. Most small business owners can spend less than $3000 to get an new website up and running with all the basic automations and hosting and keep it there for about $25 a month. A medium budget would be closer to $5000 for the setup and $200 to $500 per month to administer everything and improve the efficiency and analytics each month. A large budget is over $10,000 for the initial production and probably over $1000 per month for administration and advertising costs.

SOCIAL MEDIA is confusing and constantly evolving as far as advertising goes. It also just keeps getting more expensive. If you want to get actual sales or new business out of FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram and all the others you know about, you have to pay them. I'll manage your social media ad accounts, you'll pay the platform for the actual views, clicks, or sales. Starts at $500 per week with a six week minimum.

SEARCH ENGINE Marketing (PPC - Pay per click, PPV - Pay per view) works very well for most local businesses but can be very expensive in large markets. Known as "buying traffic" sometimes, you don't want to buy the WRONG traffic (at a cost of anywhere between five cents and maybe five dollars per click)! We don't like everything about the way Google, Bing and most of the other ad networks operate, but if you know the in's and out's and keep up with the changes and updates to these ad platforms, you really can not lose. Quotes are generally 30% of monthly ad budget. Minimum ad spend of $150 per week.

EMAIL MARKETING
You have a business and you should have an email list. If you don't, we'll fix that in short order and turn your web visitors, fans and contacts into customers. If you have an email list, we'll use that to set up new campaigns. We'll also capture new addresses from new potential business and turn them into happy customers. All automated and operating self sufficiently like a perpetual motion machine. Quotes range from $500 to five figures for initial production and typically from $100 to $1000 monthly administration and management fees.
