I guess the Italian kitchen is relatively new, and it is fantastico!Superb thin base pizzas are fresh from the oven, pastas are the equal of anything we have had Italy. The pub is still the same, the seating and tables are old, ad-hoc and from everywhere: but who cares? This is seriously good, real Italian cooking, just a few kms outside Dungarvan. More...

Stopped off last minute to grab bite to eat we both had pizza very nice. The setting is beautiful it's like your stereotypical old world irish pub but with the modern twist of having a great restaurant attached. Will have to return with friends when have more time to enjoy More...

The moment I approached this old thatched pub I was smitten, old doors and windows set the scene for the beams and a huge fire place that welcome you inside, there is a comfortable warm feeling enhanced by the friendly staff and a well stocked bar, the food and menu's are truly stunning catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I will be back and I urge you to consider An Seanachai pub and kitchen the next time you eat out.

We are just back from a weekend in Dungarvan and what a find. I booked the Seanachai Houses and was presently surprised by their space and quality. Very homely. We were delighted to see a pub next door but didn't expect much to be honest - Well, were we in for a treat. We ate there 3 times, 2 dinners and one breakfast. There were 3 generations so alot of range to please and everyone said they would be back. Pizza and pasta pleased the kids, fish and chicken for the grandparents and we had burgers and steak. We tried most things on the menu between us and one dish was nicer than the next. The last day we went for breakfast before heading home - great quality ingredients, good choice and if you go...have the pancakes. Staff were friendly and helpful and David couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was comfortable. We will be back. More...
