Sandy was a pleasure to work with. Her creative ideas were a huge help in planning what flowers we wanted for our wedding. I wanted a rustic look, and she did an excellent job making beautiful bouquets, centerpieces, corsages, boutonnieres, a garland, and some cake flowers. The flowers were beautiful and in great condition, and the delivery and set-up process went off seamlessly. She was very responsive in our correspondence for planning and payment. Sandy was fabulous to work with! She was so helpful, gracious and patient with me and my lack of creativity. I have never put together a large event let alone attempted to do flower selection and arrangement but Sandy immediately at ease. I told her my budget, showed her some ideas that I'd admired and gave her the freedom to decide. I'm so glad that I did! I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. For a spring wedding flowers are somewhat limited if you're watching cost but she made my big day gorgeous with her arrangements. After having spoken to multiple florists, I was so grateful to have found Sandy. Upon seeing her portfolio that she brought to our initial meeting, it was obvious how talented she was and I decided to book her on the spot. Sandy really knows how to listen to your ideas, and channel her creative input into making it even better. I am very particular about my own vision, and my ideas evolved over time, but Sandy was completely patient and understanding with me. Most of all, when the event finally came, I saw that Sandy really put my ideas into work and executed the vision I had in mind flawlessly. I was thoroughly impressed and blown away by the beauty of her work. It was really stunning how she had brought my imagination to life. Add to that, she arrived a lot earlier than we had planned (and she was driving from a long way too) which really showed her work ethic. Prior to finding a florist, I already had a pretty good idea of the colors, types of flowers and arrangements that I wanted for my August 4, 2013 wedding. Therefore, I was looking for a florist who would listen to my ideas and expand on my limited knowledge of flowers to create fantastic arrangements.

Sandy from An Occasion Flowers did an amazing job! I can honestly say that she was the best vendor I had the opportunity to work with for my wedding. She listened to my ideas and suggestions at our first meeting and took great detailed notes. She was also incredibly responsive to phone calls and emails and was willing to make changes to my floral order during the wedding planning process. I even made some rather large changes a few months before my wedding (changing an arbor arrangement for two large urn arrangements and adding two flower wreaths) and it all went very smoothly.

In addition, she delivered the most beautiful flowers on the day of my wedding! They were even better than what I envisioned and were the exact colors and types of flowers that I initially requested. They really made the ceremony and reception spaces look gorgeous.

What a fantastic job! Sandy was able to take this flower fearing bride (What the heck is a Lilly anyway? I know that I'm biased since it was my wedding, but they were hands down the most stunningly beautiful wedding flowers I have ever seen. Sally was referred to us by a friend of my wife and we were very pleased with our decision to hire her. Her pricing was fair and affordable, the flowers looked great, and best of all she was very easy to work with.

On the day of the wedding we didn't have to answer any questions or be bothered in any way because Sandy was prepared and ready to go with everything. You did the magnificent flowers for Phil and Kristy Kaiser's wedding on August 15, 2009. You did a fabulous job. Many of my relatives and friends could not attend because it was out-of-state and I've showed them pictures and they all commented on the outstanding beautiful flower bouquets and arrangements that you made. They were exquisite and absolutely gorgeous. The best I've seen at any wedding--and I've attended a lot of very classy and elegant weddings. The bouquets in the dining room just made the room so classy and exquisite! Most florists would have just topped off the tall vases with an arrangement on top, but you made even the vases amazing with the river rock, orchids and then striking floral arrangement on top! The bride's and bridesmaids bouquets and boutineers were very stunning also and they just "popped" in the pictures against the dresses and tuxedos. Outstanding job!

I only wish I could have taken some home with me to enjoy after the wedding. If you were in California I'd definitely use you for my daughter's wedding when the time comes! More...

Sandy really listened to Kristy and Phil and did a fabulous and impressive job for them at half the cost other florists wanted. She went over the top with the massive numbers of orchids in the tall arrangements. Kristy wanted lots of that exact type of orchid along and very specific colors in the bouquets. Sandy did precisely want they wanted and made it work fabulously.
She also did several extras free of charge. She put an arrangement in the woman's bathroom, which was such a nice touch and though it was not on the order she just saw added her special touches where she saw fit. She was the best of all our vendors, did not add on extra costs and completed everything with refined perfection.
A lot of guests commented on Sandy Dubsky's Floral arrangements. I have high standards visually and Sandy did not ever let us down! She was amazing. Do not let her quiet country demeanor mislead you because she is her abilities are modern and sophisticated!!!
