We hired Bernard to design our new home and it was the best thing we have ever done. Not only he made our home into this beautiful place but incorporated our personality and style in his design process. Bernard Underwood and his top notch team transformed my living room and dining room from drab to FAB! With bright white walls and neutral carpet I didn't know where to start. ..I just couldn't visualize all the details. Somehow Bernard was able to read my mind as he demonstrated with the design board he presented with color swatches, material samples and furniture pictures that was exactly what I wanted. It was at that moment I felt relieved knowing he had everything under control. His creative talent, patience, attention to detail and exceptional service is superior. Bernard and his team executed the design for my daughter's wedding and coordinated the wedding as well. The space was challenging and needed to accommodate both the wedding and the reception. It was also my daughter's and her fiancé's desire that their wedding reflect their unique style and relationship. I have had the distinct honor of working with Bernard Underwood and his team at An Intimate Place for the grand opening of one of our clients. All I can say is, "Wow." Bernard's sense of style and elegance reminds me of European designers of days gone by, ie; Coco Chanel and Yves St. Laurent. Bernard is a consummate professional who inspires creativity and excellence. When he and his team walks through the door, imagination follows. I've never known anyone who could turn a boring basket of napkins into a colorful bouquet.

I needed a lot done with a little $ to me, did not even think much could be done with $1,000-$1,500.
Not only was something done but an amazing creation in every room of my condo thanks to Bernard ! !

Bernard had a traditional off white colored seat covers on my dinning room chairs recovered in a beautiful blue, which he remarkably did himself !

I was highly impressed and it sure made a difference .

Adding just a few different pillows to my living room furniture made a HUGE Difference !!

I especially love a beautiful light fixture Bernard found and him and his asst hung them selves in my dinning room.

He painted a wall in my living room & I love it!

Bernard Underwood is accomplished at making a house a home. His attention to detail and ability to translate your thoughts into a stunning visualization is unparalleled and unmatched. Amazing is too light a word to describe what he has done.

I have NO decorating sense but what he did with my living room and master bedroom still boggles my mind. The color palette, the accessories and his patience as he pulled information from me should make him a saint.
