AMS Events

We used AMS for lighting, DJ and live guitarist. The guitarist for the ceremony and cocktail hour did an amazing job. He would play any song we gave him and it came out even better than I had expected. We had string lighting put up for the cocktail hour and it came out gorgeous. What I can’t stop raving about was our DJ Curly though. We asked for EDM and he totally made the night. We are still so exhausted!  But one thing is for sure, everyone keeps telling us what an amazing time they had at the wedding, and how great the music was.   Curly did such a great job choosing the best songs from what we gave him, and some others we forgot. He timed the changes perfectly.  I've never seen my mom dance so much, she hates dancing.  So I hope that tells you what a great job Curly and the AMS team did.You all have been so easy to work with and we appreciate that so much.  I'll definitely be writing up a review, lauding your team and Curly for really putting an exquisitely fine tuned soundtrack to our perfect night. AMS were phenomenal to work with, they provided DJ and lights for our August wedding. The lights set the perfect mood for dinner and the DJ Joe had us dancing all night long. Trina and Tad were a dream to work with helping me throughout the process, even accommodating week of changes to our plan. I would highly recommend them! We are so glad we had AMS Events part of our wedding day. Prior to our wedding Tad and Trina communicated with us and even set up a meeting to meet us and figure out everything we were hoping to have at our wedding. The staff set us up with everything we asked for and our wedding day turned out amazing. DJ Robbie had everyone out on the dance floor all night long....Thank you so much! Mason controlled the Photo Booth all night and my guests loved all there photos and props. I highly recommended using AMS Events for any of your events! We hired AMS for to provide both the music the lighting for our outdoor vineyard wedding in Santa Ynez, CA. Our DJ was Saul, and my husband and I couldn't have been happier with our DJ assignment. Saul is very experienced, professional, and poised. After our in-person meeting with him, he immediately got a sense of what kind of music my husband and I enjoy and the exact feel and ambiance we wanted our wedding to be like. My wife and I chose AMS Entertainment to DJ our wedding at the Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara on August 18th, 2012, and we couldn't have been happier with the job Umair, our DJ, did. We live up in the bay area, so working through the details remotely could have been challenging, but Umair, Tad and Saul really took their time to learn what we wanted, which really showed the day of our wedding.

AMS did a wonderful job providing entertainment for our end of the summer BBQ. The staff was easy to talk to and helped us create a custom package for a great price. During the event they were always on call if I needed anything, and the face painter and airbrush tattoo artist were wonderful young women and very good at their jobs. The EZ DJ system was a cinch to use, even for someone who is technically illiterate, and the event went flawlessly. I look forward to using AMS again for my next event! More...

My wife and I used AMS Entertainment for our wedding in Santa Barbara this past July. It was amazing working with them from the first day until the wedding day.
We met with Tad and discussed exactly what we wanted for our wedding. They did the sound at the ceremony and reception, all the lighting at the reception, and provided a DJ. It was great being able to do all of that with AMS.

We took a test that would place us with a DJ that would fit us best. We met with our DJ Saul Zevada, and he was extremely proffessional, fun and perfect for what we wanted. We were able to customize all of our music for the entire ceremony and after meeting with him, he was able to understand exactly what we wanted for our day.

I would reccomend Saul as a DJ for anyone to use for their wedding. He was proffessional, spoke only when it was neccessary, he kept the party going and really was a great DJ. He had great advice as far as how to get everyone up and dancing and played music good for everyone. He was extremely respectful and great for the younger crowd and the "older" crowd. He made the night go extremely smooth. He kept with all the music that we wanted and we danced all night!

The lighting was great, and everything was set up on time and absolutely no problems. We had paper lanterns and string lighting and it looked great. We also used up lighting. I would recommend using AMS Entertainment and Saul as a DJ to anyone! More...
