Gilly was an absolute dream to work with and I honestly can’t say enough good things. As any bride to be will testify, it’s an immensely stressful time. Knowing I had Gilly on hand really helped to put my mind at ease, not only in the run up to the big day but also throughout the wedding itself. would highly recommend Amore Star events. From the first conversation with Gilly, I knew immediately my wedding celebration party was in good hands, and I had complete faith we both had the same vision. The quote breakdown was also helpful and in my opinion for the service provided very reasonable compared to other event stylists I contacted. We met at the venue to discuss what I wanted and in between Gilly provided helpful links for products and recommended suppliers. On the day I could just relax and leave all the setup to Gilly, from meeting and directing the suppliers to decorating the venue. The party went better than I could ever have imagined, all the guests said what an amazing party!!! We can not thank Gilly enough!! From our initial planning meeting we knew that Gilly could handle whatever we threw at her. You can tell she has a passion for her work, nothing was too much trouble alongside her services she also provided helpful suggestions for suppliers and easier ways to achieve our look. On the day, Gilly took our ideas and turned them into our dream venue with her creative flare! The whole wedding party were able to be completely relaxed as we knew Gilly had everything under control. If there was any stress or any issues then we did not know as Gilly handled everything like a pro! Gilly at Amore Star Events was beyond brilliant, we hired Gilly to ensure the running of the day went smoothly, well she did just that and more. She made the day run smoothly, made sure our suppliers all worked together to create the best day of our life’s. Gilly also made sure that the decorations in the venue were all set up and looking their best and they did. We did have one small crisis, which as a bride sent me into a bit of a panic but Gilly was there (even when she was about to board a plane) to calm me down and ensure I didn’t stress. What do you love most about your job?
Seeing a couple's ideas and dreams become a reality, knowing that I've had a part to play in making that happen.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I am obsessed with weddings and I am a massive perfectionist. I can't help it. Weddings are such a joyous and happy occasion, filled with love. I work full time in the world of advertising sales, and started off my assisting wedding planners around London. I absolutely loved it, and so when one of them suggested I start my own business, I thought, why not?! I get the chance to be creative, and be immersed in the wonderful world of weddings in my spare time. It's heaven.
Why should our clients choose you?
I've coordinated lots of weddings and am normally the first person to arrive and the last to leave the venue depending on how long you need me for and your budget. I'm friendly, helpful, available throughout your day to you, your guests and suppliers (whilst remaining in the background so as not to disturb you) and come fully prepared with a fully stocked emergency kit.I also a have a big book of contacts to assist you in sourcing suppliers too.
