Always when used this company was fine, today I pre booked my taxi, I didn’t get no confirmation that it’s booked or even what car it is, nothing, when called the company got told that he’s picked up someone else, all I got was a sorry, and due to that I’m late for work. If you don’t wanna loose customers, send out a confirmation, what car the drive is in etc. wouldn’t recommend for now, hopefully you guys will improve in future. More...

Absolutely awful service and pricing (once in vehicle). Card given by Crown at Broughton as reliable. Turned up ok, drove miles around countryside to eventually drop at destination, which is actually a simple 3 road, 3 miles from pick up, for £16. Taxis are always on time but the taxi cab was very dirty inside and smelled of smoke, maybe from the driver's clothes as they are not allowed to smoke in the cab, the driver also pulled away before I could get my seatbelt on

We have used Amigo Carz twice now for two return journeys into Cambridge. They have always arrived early or promptly which is excellent as they don't mind waiting a little while we get ourselves sorted. The return has always been straight forward, again arriving on time and always providing a contact number for our driver in advance to make sure we can find each other later in the evening. Overly priced, usually late and unreliable. Some drivers are really rude and abrupt. I booked a taxi this morning, but they arrived 45 minutes late. Understandably, it is a bank holiday. But I still got charged the same amount and didn't get a single apology. Also on a separate occasion booked a taxi an hour before hand and they were still late. Rang them up to ask where the taxi was, they kept shouting over the phone saying it's outside but I've been waiting for over 20 minutes. They hung up the first time without saying anything. The worst taxi service I have ever used - don't use them if you want to be on time and don't want to be ripped off! Both times I booked cars in advance, they were 10-15 minutes late. Very incompetent. I paid £260 upfront for a transfer to and from the Airport. The first driver refused to use Live Maps to see if there was any traffic on the roads and his driving was terrible. The controller outright lied to me when being picked up from the Airport and said the driver would be 30mins late. DO NOT use this taxi company. They are an absolute disgrace. We had an airport run booked and paid £130 each way. The journey down was a struggle as the driver was not safe to drive it seemed. On the way back however our flight landed 15 minutes early and we were waiting outside at 7.30am having travelled from the USA and tired and wanting to get home. The taxi driver was late, we called him and he told us that he had been stuck in traffic on the M25 but when we checked google maps it was totally clear. He told us he would arrive at Heathrow at 8.15am. At 8.20am we called again and they said that they wouldn’t be there until 9.15am. We then had to use and UBER to get home. We wasted an hour at the airport when we could have been nearly home. When we called, there was no manager to speak to and the place is an absolute shambles. Do not rely on this company ! More...

Awful service, don't use this company if your journey is important. Booked a taxi with them Sunday for Monday morning, taxi was late so I missed my train to London . Booked a taxi with them Wednesdays for Thursday morning. A bit later Wednesday evening I phoned back to confirm the booking.
