I placed an order of check stock for our company recently & within a couple hours received a follow up phone call suggesting a different freight option to save a few dollars. We ultimately decided against this option (because of timeliness), but really appreciated them looking out for our bottom line. Their communication was OUTSTANDING as I received updated information for shipping/tracking as well as a follow-up after we received our order. If possible, I'd have given this business 7 Stars. What information do you need from a client before you start work?
When designing a logo it is obviously their basic idea and company's industry that we need. When it comes to forms, most people already have one in mind and we just need to tweak it to meet their company needs.
What sorts of printing projects do you usually cater for?
Some of my clients are home builders, some are international Steel Companies and some are local restaurants and service contractors. What i am getting at is there is no one sort of project for us. We literally can print anything !
What do you love most about your job?
I love the creativity. When you design a mailer, a form and even a website, it is a functioning piece that will bring people together in some way. It is always a good feeling to know you provide something so useful to someone.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for a private family owned firm for over 15 years. I learned SO much from the owner and he stepped down and let me run things for a few years. His wife convinced him to close up shop (elderly couple) and retire. His faith in my abilities gave me the confidence to not go look for a job again, but to reach out and start my own firm and provide an even more richer experience for my family. Something to hand down when it is time.
Why should our clients choose you?
I think clients should choose whomever they are comfortable with. I wont sway them with promising sales pitches or fancy offerings. I will get them what they need, when they need it and at a price they will be most happy with. Ask ANY of my current customers how my service is.... they will definitely give glowing reviews.
Graphic Layout
American Printing Services offers free design and layout of your printing projects when you use us for the print of that project. The customer supplies all the content and graphics, APS team gets it into the proper template and pre-press ready.
